My friend showed up an hour later and had to park 5 blocks away and he had a room reservation. So, at least for Opening Day, they should have waived the $50 fee, imo. On my second day, there was a concerning incident in which staff attempted to enter my room without prior notice while I was still inside. Fortunately, I had engaged the secondary lock. It appeared that housekeeping did not verify occupancy before attempting entry, which raised concerns regarding guest privacy and safety. On a positive note, the breakfast service was excellent. The staff preparing the meal were welcoming and personable, and I truly enjoyed my interactions with them."
