"The view of the lake was great. Relaxing, laid -back setting. They have a nice blacktop trail around the lake, bring your fishing pole and artificial bait no live bait. I was told sometimes the park rangers come down and fish with the kids.The rooms are dated but nice and clean. It would have been nice if there was a microwave and a mini fridge. They offered s'mores by the campfire which was a big hit with the kids. The Restaurant had good service and food. We spent 2 days there on our way to the beach and visited The Natural Bridge area. There was a lot more to explore so we'll be back."

"We loved staying in your cottage! It had everything we needed! It was close to good restaurants and convenient to the Virginia Horse Center! We would definitely stay here again!"
