"Room carpet was very dirty. It smelled like someone had cooked shrimp in our room too. The smell never went away for the entire stay. Breakfast was not nearly as good as other Best Western Plus hotels I have stayed at. Parking was ample and the outside appearance was good but housekeeping and maintenance is definitely lacking."

"Scenic location, clean room. However, it took 5 minutes for the water in the bathroom to warm up, ten minutes to get hot, all the while water was stopping up in the shower. Also, speakers on TV did not work."

"Every aspect of my stay was a delight. The location was ideal. The staff was welcoming & attentive. The room was well appointed, tastefully decorated and very clean. The included breakfast was excellent. All in all, The Georges exceeded my expectations."

"Front desk would not help my wife correct the reservation to her name. Instead, they denied her to check in and made zero attempt to help her contact Hotels.com to resolve. My wife (Princess) had me find another property and the same issue almost occurred again. There’s a situation when making a reservation on the Hotels site where if you leave the reservations page before booking and come back, the name of the guest reverts back to the site manager (me…Blake) instead of my wife. (Princess). I realized this after making the second reservation and called the property before she arrived. Fortunately at the Wingate, the front desk allowed the name change back to Princess. I want a refund for $145 or I’m done with Hotels. "
