Pet friendly, comfortable family home with sea views near the Giant's Causeway
Comfortable family home which provides a great base for exploring the Causeway Coast - and the nearby towns of Bushmills, Ballycastle, Portrush and Portstewart. The house is situated less than half a mile from Dunseverick harbour with direct access to the Causeway Coastal Route walking path. We welcome guests with dogs to take advantage of the rural location and great walking nearby. The house is particularly suitable for families with an enclosed, safe back garden and gated access to a children's playpark just behind the house. The house has an upstairs lounge to take advantage of the sea views of towards Ballintoy Harbour, Rathlin Island and Islay. It also provides a great base for walkers, cyclists, kayaking or any sea water sport enthusiasts. There is an excellent bus service covering all of the coastal route attractions with a bus stop just outside the front door. This means that transport from Belfast, Derry and Dublin is all possible without needing a car.

Ideal location for visiting the north coast with a lovely beach minutes away. The house was well equipped with a good sized enclosed garden that our dog loved. We all had a fantastic time there.
Property is conveniently located near Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede and Bushmills on a quiet street with spectacular views. Quick walk down the street to Dunsevereick Castle and waterfall. Comfortable beds and a nice renovated main bathroom. Bedrooms are a little tight with no closets or dressers, just hangers. Owner lives next door and made sure to say hello.
Very comfortable and relaxing place to stay, this location has access to many areas of interest, Outdoor space very spacious, well equipped and safe for dogs and for families with children. Pam (the host) was very helpful and considerate. Would be happy to stay here again.
We had cold, rainy and windy weather during our visit but our house was a perfect place to be warm and cozy. We saw rainbows and lots of birds. There's a lot to see besides the giant's causeway, so give yourself time. The location is amazing. Spacious rooms, good beds, a great fireplace and good internet all made for a relaxing stay.
We had the most lovely stay here! The location can’t be beat, and Pamela gave us a warm welcome. She was very responsive and happy to answer any questions we had. While we stayed here, we got to enjoy the scenic drive on the Causeway Coast, visit the Giant’s Causeway, tour the Bushmills distillery, eat at a few of the many restaurants, and simply get away from it all. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We hope to return to Ireland and would love to stay here again!
This house was a perfect place to stay. Beautiful area. Close to Giants causeway. Restaurants and a coffee shop within driving distance. The landscape was gorgeous.
This property was the perfect location for exploring all the glorious beauty the North has to offer. Our hosts were so kind and helpful and the cottage and yard were lovely!
Fabuluos location to stay with great view of the ocean. It was close to many places we wanted to see. We used this location as a home base to visit Giant's Causeway, Dunluce Castle, and Raithlin Island, to name a few. Lots of room for the family to spread out after adventuring together for the day.
A warm welcome was given by Pam on arrival. The cottage
was ideally placed for touring the causeway coast and its many features and excellent eateries. Accommodation was ideal for 4 adults (requiring 3 bedrooms) athough the sitting room would struggle to cope comfortably for any more.
This home fit our family just perfectly as we explored the causeway coast. It has a beautiful view out the front den window and a quiet backyard for lounging. The girls loved walking down the road to the rock pools and small beach and the sea views were breathtaking. The home is cheery, clean and efficient and centrally located to exploring the many sites along the causeway coast. We had a fabulous time!
The house requires new windows etc as they were very drafty There were drafts from under the doors as well. There were no instructions how to use heating tv etc We did not realise the living room would be the only one upstairs snd it was difficult due to age managing same. The cost of the deep clean £60 should also be considered. There was a smell of damp and slaters in rooms. We did not enjoy this stay
