Ideal location to Kruger Park entrance. Nice pool areas, pools have ambiance night lighting, for visual effects. Good buffets. Lots of choices. Dynamic & animated hotel, african style, pleasant surroundings.

Safaris in this area are very expensive this offers great value for money. Food was excellent, particularly the Boma at dinner.The safaris were great as the guides really try to find the big game. We stayed at an expensive lodge in a Private Concession and felt the Kruger gates safaris were better although with more traffic

Amazing stay, food, decor, amenities, rooms were great and would love to stay here again. Safari was also amazing with a great guide, Culture. Conveniently located 1min away from the Paul Kruger Gate. Highly recommend staying here.

Clean room with clean towels etc. Food was good but disappointed with gluten free options. Breakfast had the same very dry GF bread and same muffins very morning. Home made GF rolls available at dinner, were delicious but not always available . The dinner food options of meat, vegetables and salads was very good. Christmas dinner though, was a bit disappointing. Friendly staff. Visitors must be aware that costs charged for entering and leaving Kruger Park can mount up, plus manual firm filling becomes a bit tedious. Not fault of the hotel, it's government policy.

Lovely room, breakfast & dinner were included. Safaris were additional. They had a great spa. Gift shop, coffee shop, a couple bars & pools. We would recommend it for anyone.

Awesome!

What an amazing hotel. The rooms are lovely. Pre dinner drinks at the infinity pool area overlooking the Kruger Park is awesome. Dinner buffet is delicious with a large variety of food and the service was fantastic. Thank you for a great stay!

Property is very pretty. Rooms were nice and comfy. Pool with overlook is very nice. Loved the monkeys and baboons running around. Staff was great. The buffet breakfast and dinner had so many options. Loved the staff singing.

The staff was attentive and helpful to our needs and made sure we were comfortable at all times. The game tours are amazing and I enjoyed seeing some of the big 5! I do recommended doing an afternoon tour as well as an all day tour. The food options were ok enjoyed breakfast more than dinner. The resort is wonderful and I was able to see a Hurd of elephants by the pool before sunset. I would recommend this place to others and stay here again if I am in Kruger!

Kruger Gate Hotel is an amazing hotel to visit if you are visiting the Kruger National Park! Great family-/child-friendly hotel adjacent to Kruger Gate, making it super convenient for safaris (5am departure = 530am wildlife sightings!). Pool view is stunning, and a further kids pool make it pleasant and entertaining for kids. Staff were super attentive to ensure our stay was pleasant! The dinner buffet was incredible!

The resort being right by the main entrance to Kruger National Park makes it a great spot to book safari tours of the park. Dining was fine, but would benefit from more selections à la carte.

The only way to visit Kruger Park.

The 3 day stay started with a elephant herd greeting. Facility reflects the African Spirit and has character. Very friendly staff, room was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet and evening buffet were both excellent, great choice of all kind of goodies. Lodge is soo close to the Kruger Park entry. Drive was good, guide could have given additional information.

Wonderful stay

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel blends into the jungle environment for nicely. Even though the baboons are noisy running on the roofs in the morning, it is fun to see them and the other monkeys playing all around the resort. The buffets had a larger variety of options with different options at each night. We had friends who were celebrating an anniversary while there and the singing staff were incredible with their version of a happy anniversary song! The only thing what would have been nicer was if the pool was warmer (the pool that overlooks the river is shaded and quite cool and cloudy). But we had an absolutely wonderful stay at a beautiful resort.

Hidden Gem

The property is a hidden gem with tree house lounges, large open deck for animal viewing, outstanding meals for every palate and diet, aged towering trees interspersed throughout, spacious rooms and amenities such as spa, game rooms and gym. The staff are very friendly, helpful, authentic and genuine. I have stayed in property several times and highly recommend it.
