"Markus has a well maintained property minutes from Lunenburg. Beautiful views at sunrise. Property has multiple rooms and cottages to choice from.so read carefully. We stayed 1 night so we had basic 2 queen bed room with a very tiny bathroom in motel part. Clean..comfortable had very thing we needed. Highly recommend Susan Berry"

"We didn’t get a good impression when we went to check in as no one was there. We stood there for 15-20 minutes but no one came. We rang the bell and phoned, but still no one answered. Finally, we called and left a message and the owner came from the back to check us in. The staircase to the upstairs (first impression for visitors) was filthy. We get it, people come in with their shoes on, but first impressions mean a lot. The breakfast was okay and we were happy he asked about dietary restrictions when checking in. Parking was really good at the back."

"The rooms are directly above the restaurant. The staff are great. Our room overlooked the restaurant patio and Lunnenburg wharfs. There was chatter and activity until closing. There is no A/C but it cooled off quickly with the windows open. The bathroom fan did not work, nor did the lower receptacles on the bedside. We unplugged the bedside lamps to charge our phones."

We were lucky enough to experience it all - rain and waves, clouds and sun, sunsets and stars.From the well equipped super cute interior, to morning coffee on the deck (with feet in the water), to the awesome sunset river cruise provided by our host - it was a perfect, relaxing stay."
