"A beautifully appointed hotel in a parkland setting with generous complimentary items. Everything was clean and tidy and working. Buffet breakfast was good too."

"Charming miners cottages in the centre of Burra, within easy walking distance to eating & shops. Quiet, spacious, very comfy bed. Being winter the cottages do get cold but heat pump soon fixed that. When we arrived at the front of the cottages a notice on the gate said to check in around the corner at the office on site so we drove around only to find a board propped against a tree saying check in was now via the camp ground along the road. Another couple were in the same boat. When we arrived at the camp grounds there we no issues, the lady was very friendly, i informed her of the miscommunication info& was going to sort it out. We were told the cottages are council run. A message prior to check in to clarify this would be helpful. An otherwise great stay."

"We enjoyed our stay here very much.The house was well-equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had everything we required to self-cater. The shower was superb with the hot water coming on fast and strong. The collection on display was inspired, interesting, and intriguing. The garden was lovely too."

"The motel is well appointed and maintained. Heating in the room and bathroom worked well, which is important in Clare in the colder months. As the property is on the edge of town I was pleasantly surprised by the presence of kangaroos on the extensive grounds when I checked in late in the afternoon."

"The cottage has everything you need in generous supply. It's like living in a museum with a strong sense of history. I strongly recommend staying at the cottage. The only negatives are the TV reception was faulty and Netflix never worked. Cosy home with a marvellous garden."

"This was a most fantastic cottage in the Clare Valley. The location was absolutely perfect in a quaint historic village nestled among so many great family wineries. The cottage was very well appointed with every amenity one could want including a very beautiful private backyard. We would rate it as a 20 out of 10 if we could! "
