"Clean room, just needed the shower updating as it leaked badly over the bath through the shower screen and on to the floor (room 116). Really lovely position overlooking the beach. We stayed for one night and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast, which was made even better by the helpful and friendly staff. My husband is a celiac and required gluten free food. They sorted everything for him and nothing was too much trouble. We will be back! Thank you ☺️"

"The room was dusty and cobwebs were around the inside of the window and we had spiders in there. The hotel was not very well maintained, could do with painting and upgrading of some of the furniture. The wooden panelling in pool area needs attention as well. We booked breakfast for 9am and when we arrived the scrambled eggs were dried up, no black pudding, no bacon and no butter available. Parking was fine. I had wanted to stay at the hotel for a while and was disappointed with my overall experience and would not visit agan."

"My two daughters and I were informed by reception the night before that breakfast would start at a certain time. However, when we arrived the next morning, we were told by the lady behind the bar that because it was a bank holiday, breakfast would open an hour later. While we understood the change, the staff member was very rude, obnoxious, and unprofessional in the way she spoke to us. When we said we would report the matter, she replied, “I don’t care.” I later reported this to reception, where both staff members were very apologetic and understanding."

"The hotel is located in the centre of Norwich next to the cathedral, everything is in walking distance. Our suite was located on the top floor via a small spiral staircase, ok for us but anyone with mobility issues would find it difficult. Bed and bathroom were comfortable with everything that we needed. The breakfast was varied with a lot to choose from but things were running out towards the end of service one day. The bar area was nice and service was great. Overall no complaints. "
