Die Umgebung ist wunderschön, vielfältig und immer eine Reise wert. Die Ferienwohnung fanden wir schön, sehr gut ausgestattet (eine Teekanne mussten wir allerdings erst erbitten und wurde uns sofort zur Verfügung gestellt), statt eineBalkons konnten wir umstandslos die beiden Terrassen des Hauses mitnutzen. Ein Problem mag die Lage des Hauses hoch über der Mosel sein, was die Gastgeber kompensieren, indem sie eine Fahrrad-Garage unten am Bahnhof zur verfügung stellen. Man muss dann halt immer mit dem Auto hoch fahren.
