Buffalo Heritage Carousel

The room I stayed in smelled like damp mop. The AC was notnworking properly. I felt very uncomfortable there

The rooms were nice with tall ceilings. However, the tall ceilings meant it was built with little insulation between floors. Yes, that means every step your upstairs neighbor took pounded through to your room below. I would suggest a top floor room, if that is an option. It's also concerning that the price of the room was 50% higher than a room outside of Philly or Boston for similar hotel (in one case both hampton's). This shouldn't be the case for Buffalo, but it fit our driving schedule the best. Other than that, the pool looked nice, it was within walking distance of a pizza place, and was an easy drive to Niagra Falls. The rooms themselves were good sized for the type and the staff were courteous. They do warn you about where to park, so please pay attention to that. This is not a downside of them, or the area, just a bad neighbor.
