"The room was clean and well appointed. I am allergic to down, so when I called the front desk, she wasn’t sure if they had down alternative pillows/bedding. I found some in the closet. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash and body lotion all separate. Would stay again."

"The cabin was great for a weekend! We had all the amenities we needed for the family. They were very responsive when we had a question. The location was great and quiet. The lake view sunsets were awesome! Highly recommend!"

"We had a great time here in Iola! Loved the small town, being right on the the lake and the fishing was excellent! Lots of bluegill for our youngest first time fisherladies to catch and even bass for the more seasoned fishermen. The house was perfect for our family and very relaxing. When we did have a small issue, Agnes was very quick to respond and very accommodating!"

"Everything and everyone was wonderful. Missed coffee in the room, but 24-hour coffee in the lobby (and hot chocolate!) was delish. Was looking forward to the hot tub, but it was shut down :( Pool was nice though. Every single staff member was super friendly :)"

"Pros:SpaciousCleanUpdated appliances, etc.Big DeckPlenty of seating inside and outClose to shoppingGarage space for one vehicle if neededgood communication from hostCons:Close to busy road, you will hear the trafficNot a lot of yard spaceVery Steep, rocky, backyard with no carved out path down to the fire pit (there is a deck fire pit, so not a big deal).There are some general maintenance things that should have been taken care of, especially since the house was supposed to have been inspected by a vrbo rep prior to our stay (according to property manager): multiple burnt out light bulbs. Both coffee makers didn't work properly. The sliding glass door from the dining room was very difficult to open and close, had to spend time cleaning the tracks just to make it somewhat manageable for the stronger people in the party to open, still very difficult. Basement TV was broken (screen cracked from pool balls I'm guessing). Loft pullout couch was broken so only could accommodate a child. Many broken or missing slats in the windows and some in the vertical blinds. These things should've been addressed but it appears as if they have been like that for some time.Keep in mind that the dock is about a 1/3 of a mile to walk, and it's all hill. We knew that coming in so I'm not docking anything for that, just want to remind people of this. Might be good to bring wagon, scooter, bike etc. to get items down to the boat/dock. Thank you for a great stay!"
