"We thoroughly enjoyed our time on this property. It’s more towards the north part of the lake but there is still plenty of room to boat and jet ski. And it’s less busy at that part of the lake even though the best sights are at the south part. The views are still great, the rooms were clean and comfortable beds. The house has great amenities and everything you need. The Food Lion is less than 15 minutes away. The house is an older home with updated finishes. The hot tub is one of the best I’ve ever been in. But the real winner is the dock and view. The kids loved playing in the water at the dock. Even though the water level is low at the lake it is still plenty deep. If there was any negative it was the house had a bit of an old home smell when we arrived. But once we got the air circulating and bought some candles it was fine. Again, it is a very good house to vacation and relax."

"This was an exceptional property--extremely clean, comfortable, and well-appointed! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was very well-stocked, and everything was in perfect working order. Lots of water toys available, including a variety of tubes and floats, along with 6 kayaks/paddleboards in a variety of sizes. Wonderful quiet location, too. We come to SML every couple of years and this has been our family's favorite spot so far!"

"Beautiful, immaculate, and well-equipped for families. Our kids enjoyed playing off the dock and the house is well-situated to get to numerous marinas for boat rentals. We wished we could’ve stayed longer!"

"We enjoyed our stay overall. The house in general was nice, but a few things needed a little TLC, pool table felt with rough shape, cues or rough shape. The grill was not a Weber as advertised and needed parts replaced on it. Ping-pong paddles need to be replaced. And unfortunately, the water levels were so low that it was very difficult to use the floating dock for the boat we rented. I know this is not the owner's fault, but just thought it would be worth mentioning for future visitors this summer. The location of the cove was nice and quiet. Great spot for fishing. communication was great with the Host just like I said needed a few updates."

"We had an amazing week at the lake and made so many wonderful memories with our family. The location and overall experience were exactly what we were looking for, and we would absolutely consider staying here again.That said, we wanted to offer a few suggestions that we hope are helpful. The home could use a little TLC and some general maintenance in a few areas. It also wasn’t as clean as we expected when we arrived, which made settling in a bit more difficult.One thing that stood out was the number of personal belongings throughout the home. While we understand this may be a family vacation home, there were quite a few personal items stored in closets, cabinets, and around the house. This left us with limited space to unpack and organize our own belongings for the week.None of these things took away from the wonderful time we had. We truly enjoyed our stay, and these are simply suggestions that could make an already great property even better for future guests. Thank you for sharing your lake home with us—we created memories that will last a lifetime!"
