Older hotel but kept well
Location is great with a short stroll in to the square. Easy access to great dining and attractions. Friendly staff with great knowledge of the area.

Nice hotel close to town and station
The hotel is ideally situated with only about a 10 minute walk to the station and the town. Lovely breakfast and comfortable rooms. Shame it is on a busy road as it is a little noisy at times. Overall would recommend.

Good Stay
Great little family run hotel in an excellent location on the edge of the old town. Good breakfast and friendly staff. The private parking is a little expensive at 15Euro per night but that’s what you expect in Bruges- it’s an expensive tourist city.

Friendly staff, Clean Room, but Noise from cars
Staff is friendly and helpful, room is clean. Facilities wise, it would be good to provide kettle. The only bad thing is the hotel is just beside the main street, you will hear the noise from the car and truck at night and early morning. Although hotel does provide the ear plug, but I found uncomfortable to wear this to sleep.

Great location but disappointing room
The hotel is lovely, great service and a fantastic location. The only thing was that a third bed had been put into our L shaped room that didn’t fit the space which meant that either the bathroom door could not be shut or the bed had to be pulled away from the wall and set at an awkward angle to be able to use the bathroom. I did expect a family room for 3 people but felt we had been squeezed into a double room.

Great visit, comfortable hotel with welcoming host
We had a lovely short break in Bruges and felt comfortable and relaxed in this hotel. Sandra could not have been more helpful and made our stay very pleasurable. The location was excellent and close both to the city centre and to a major train line. The continental breakfast in the morning was always well stocked and had perfectly cooked eggs.

Nice city shame about accommodation
Unfortunately our room was not very good - shower over bath but couldn’t stand in Bath & no curtain . Wi-fi poor - tv channels didn’t work - only stayed on one channel. Standard of room not as expected or as per pictures. No mention on arrival of any spa detail. Car parking needs to be booked in advance in order to partake - however car park over road was 50% cheaper so this worked in our favour -

Great hotel
Ideal location....short walk to railway station...short walk to t''Markt via main shopping street......lots of cafes..bars and restaurants on the doorstep. This was my second stay here and I am already booked in for next year. Mystified as to why there are no tea/coffee making facilities.....must be a Belgian thing, as they are present in most hotels around the world these days....... I was sharing a double room and the wardrobe was a single with no hanging rail and was full of pillows......neither of us required a wardrobe so it was not an issue......but I imagine it would not suit the majority of travellers staying for a few days.

Charming and convenient
This hotel is clean and comfortable. They serve a wonderful free breakfast. The old town center is a short walk away as well as lots of good shopping. Only complaint is that the WiFi is truly terrible.

It's easy to reach to & from the train station. Walking distance to the old town. Good breakfast. Has an elevator! Spacious room with comfy bed. Very kind & helpful owner/manager. However, minor defects, such as squeaking floor & sharp showerhead.

Perfect location, great breakfast, parking too!
We spent 2 days at Hotel Maraboe. Proximity wise, its just inside the touristy/walled area of Bruges and across the street from many eateries, shops, etc. Around the corner are a butcher, patisserie, grocery store, and more restaurants so access to everything a person would want is 1+ blocks away. Overall great experience. Friendly staff, attention to detail including cleanliness, updated rooms, etc. Parking was 10 Euro/day which is another plus....hard to find a hotel inside Brugge let alone only 10 Euro. Breakfast was solid, great offering of pastries, meats/cheeses, cereal, etc. We would stay here again. The only negative is the free wifi - slow connection but if you want to pay a few euros you get a better connection.

Decent hotel on the edge of town
We enjoyed our short stay. The breakfast was very good and staff friendly and helpful and provided a cot and high chair for our son when required. Location is very good for getting into town. The only real problem is that there is a dual carriageway outside. It was OK with the windows closed very very loud when we opened them.

Nice older hotel.Owner serves you breakfast.
Room very cramped for 3 single beds we needed. Other than TVand hairdryer, no other conveniences. No airflow in this particular inside room. Bath light (if switched on at night) BLINDING. A small frig would have been nice to have in room. Nice, friendly owner (also owns taxis) and staff. Convenient to Grote Markt, buses and train station.

A warm welcome
We had a very comfortable three night stay. We received a warm welcome and were given a map and information about events. The location is very good, close to restaurants and the concert hall and a short walk from the historic centre.

Great Place at Super Rates
We first stayed at the Maraboe in 2013 and when we decided to revisit Brugge we had not hesitation of booking our accomodation there again. Hotel has a small elevator which services all but the "attic" level room and even then its only a few stairs to be climbed. Breakfast whilst modest is plentifull and abundant in quantity. Its ten mi utes stroll to the station and about the same to the Brugge town square.

I chose this hotel as it was easy to drive to but still close to the centre of Bruges and it offers parking. It also does a good breakfast and a bonus was it has a small gym.

Cute hotel close to the Markt area
Hotel Maraboe was in a great location for walking to the main tourist/market area. We were not aware that parking needed to be reserved ahead of time but there was a fairly convenient public parking lot close by which was probably cheaper anyways. The hotel staff were very friendly and the building was cute. Our room was a bit small for three people but it was sufficient. Breakfast was good.

We stayed for a weekend in Bruges. The hotel was really clean. The bed was really comfy, always had a good night sleep. I like how the hotel was nice and small so not to crowded. The staff was friendly. Highly recommend it.

OK was as described
Hotel was booked for a short 5 day break, and was as described. The only minor issue was the toilet was separate to the on suite bathroom, but still off our room, and had no natural ventilation, window or extractor fan, a very minor point, and we didn't complain, but we wouldn't really expect this.

A small and cozy family-run hotel with a very friendly staff and good location. The only minor downside I could think of is slow and unreliable free WiFi network (there is a paid option of 5 EUR per day per device for the high-speed access). Breakfasts, while not striking with variety, are nice and tasty. Overall impression is very good, great value for money.

Great hotel
The Maraboe is a lovely hotel and great value for the price. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, although the walls are very thin and you can hear everything going on in the room next door. The location is excellent, the tourist office is a 2 minute walk away and the Markt (the centre of it all) only 5 minutes walk away.My only negative would be that the wifi is awful .Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Pleasant hotel
We chose this hotel because it was easy to get to from the station (15 minutes walk at most) and close to the old town centre. We were glad we did and would stay there again.

Lovely quaint city hotel
Loved this place. So close to the town square so location was perfect. The actual hotel was such a beautiful quaint city hotel with a very homely feel. It felt like staying at a friend's place. Breakfast was included and served out of a book case and across a room which was great too! Would definitely stay here again. Only downside the pillows were a little u comfortable, and the wifi wasn't great..but that gave us the chance to talk to each other more! There was th option of €5 a day high speed wifi though.

Nice hotel good location
Room was clean and good location. I was able to walk to everywhere from the location. Bed wasn't bery comfortable and had requested 2 twin beds but was given a double. Internet was terribly slow to the point it was pretty much useless. I know the internet shouldn't be that important for vacation but I used it at night to research what to do the following day. Breakfast was great and had a lot to offer. To me this is very important for this to be offered. Overall I had a great experience.

The free breakfast and the location of the hotel are what made our stay here standout. We were able to walk to all of top tourist sites and. Wander off the beaten path and discover the ture beauty of Brugge.

Great little boutique hotel with friendly staff
This hotel is just on the edge of all the touristy spots which are all in walking distance. Great little hotel with old world charm. Staff are really friendly and always helpful at breakfast every morning. Room was clean and spacious and had all the services you need.

Very nice hotel close to city centre
This is a very nice hotel in good location for a few days in Bruges. It has character, clean, comfortable rooms and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is a lovely breakfast room with plenty of choice and fresh bread, croissants and pastries. It is not far to walk into the centre and is much cheaper than hotels there. It also has the advantage of having cheaper restaurants and bars in the immediate area. We were on a cycling holiday and secure cycle storage was provided and was easy to cycle to the station to get our train to Brussels. We also got a train to Ghent for another great day out.

The hotel was a fair value for a reasonable price. A bank ATM just across the street was a definite plus if your currency is not the euro, no rip offs from the high fee money changers that way. The staff was helpful whenever asked. Our flight was delayed and we called them because check in time ends at 6pm there was someone to check us in at the desk at 8:30pm when we arrived. A big, big plus for that.

Good central hotel
This hotel is about15 mins walk from the station and very central for the city. Breakfast was a feast to set us up for the day. Sandra and her team were excellent.
