A bit pricey when checking out for parking, dogs and city tax €68 for one night...
But a lovely little hotel.
Could have used a shower rather than just a bath.
Pros -
- Great location a pretty 5 to 10 min stroll through the old town to the centre.
- Lovely breakfast with fresh, high quality breads, pastries, etc., granolas, fruit, cheeses, etc etc etc
- Warm rooms, comfy beds
- Clean
Cons
- Nothing much. It's a simple hotel, not flashy or big, if you were looking for that.
Very nice small hotel in a great location. Staff were excellent and the continental breakfast was good. The room was very warm but you could adjust the radiator and open windows. We would definitely stay again
The Hotel Adornes is in a perfect position, just far enough away from the busy center, and near enough (5 min walk) to get there. Natalie and her colleagues could not of been more pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was ample and good value. We had 2 ground floor rooms which were very clean and comfortable. All in all a great place to stay.
The hotel was in a picturesque location and a short scenic walk from the centre of Bruges. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Although ear buds were required to get a good sleep, this was expected given the age of the building and central location.
We had a fabulous trip to Bruges, staying at the Hotel Adornes. This is a very nice, comfortable hotel, a lovely old building with lots of historical character, next to a scenic canal. It is also very well located with easy (walking) access to the centre of the beatiful old city of Bruges. Of particular note for us was the superb & friendly service from the manager/receptionist, 'Sabine' who simply could not have been more helpful, friendly & welcoming. We found it a simply fantatic place to stay.
You feel like at home in this great hotel. Excellent location with super excellent staff. Free bicycles is a plus. They knew it was my birthday and sent me a bottle of red wine with a postcard in my room. Very nice gesture. Thank you so much to made me feel happy. I recommend this hotel.
Lovely hotel on the canal. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We parked at the free park and ride near the police station then walked the mile to the hotel, we could have dropped our luggage off then parked the car but it was a little difficult to navigate with Google maps around the small paved roads. The hotel was beautiful, the scenery stunning and the free use of bikes was a lovely extra perk! We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.
The front desk were superb! They were friendly, kind, accommodating and knowledgeable.
The only thing that would have improved our stay was if there had been a small fridge. The weather was hotter than normal and it would have been nice to have access to a small fridge in the room.
Hotel Adornes staff were excellent: helpful advice, sincere interest in our experiences, and a clear understanding of being a visitor, rather than just a tourist. Good breakfasts, clean facilities, and great hosts.

Thank you for those nice words , it means a lot to us . Always welcome at the Adornes if your travels bring you back to Bruges , Nathalie and team
This place is walking distance from everything. The service and attention to all details is top notch… and the owner is a very warm character lady who was very helpful and with whom I had a great conversation about the place, the city and the history. Definitely going the extra mile in a very natural and friendly manner. I will be back to Brugge, definitely a magic and full of surprises medieval town, and when I do, I will stay at Adornes with no doubts. Thank you! (By the way… they have a reserved parking space… in these towns a very valuable asset!)

thank you so much for the nice words , this means a lot to us . Sharing knowledge about our heritage and history of Bruges with apreciative travellers is such a pleasure , every time again . Thank you , Nathalie
Property is close to the tourist attractions.
Room is just like a grave, wash room does not enough space. Chair, bed & desk etc. are not in useable condition.

Dear mr Mahmood , I am chocked to read your comment about the room . You had one of our largest rooms at the Adornes hotel on the ground floor level facing the canal . It is about 25 square meter large with an ample bathroom with walk in shower . Could there be confusing ?
The staff and hotel were very warm and inviting. The location was amazing. It was a very quiet neighborhood with great views of the canal and surrounding area. It was easily walkable to the main square, and the staff provided a wonderful suggested walking tour of the city

thank you for the excellent score , we hope to welcome you again on another occasion
This is a lovely hotel in a quiet area, yet walkable to all the sites. Our hostess, Nathalie is charming and could not do enough for us. Our room was quite large, very clean, separate WC and shower area with a large king size bed. It also overlooked the courtyard which would be lovely in warmer weather. Breakfast was plentiful; eggs, breads, fresh orange juice, coffee and more. We were able to do laundry on the premises. Access is easy with a code after hours and there are free bicycles. We would highly recommend both for convenience, price and service.

The hotel is charming with a great location and attentive staff. It has all the amenities that one could want and a wonderful breakfast. This is our second visit and we look forward to coming back !
Hotel Adornes is in a great location a few minutes walk from the centre of Bruges. As the photos show, it is composed of two old houses facing a canal, and the staircase is steep and narrow as you’d expect in such an old building - but there is a lift if you need it. Our room was spacious with a view of the canal. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good (great bread especially) and parking is close by and easy to access (15 euros a night). We didn’t use the bar but the recommendations for bars and restaurants were spot on.
The hotel is a great location. They have a map of the old city with a suggested walking tour originating from the hotel. We divided it over 2 days and it was perfect. The breakfasts are stupendous and the wait staff extremely nice. The building is very old but so nicely restored. Things like the ancient fireplace for cooking and beamed ceilings add to the quaintness of the hotel. We would recommend staying at the Adornes Hotel to anybody. By the way, on the walking tour one learned where the name comes from...all part of the history of this neighborhood of Bruges.
The hotel, located on one of Bruges’ picturesque canals, is charming and comfortable. Our room had lovely windows and a bathroom that was completely up to date but also had character. Delicious breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. A delightful place to stay.
