"Fantastic stay. I was celebrating with 13 other friends. The house was perfect for us, lovely hot tub and games area, kitchen facilities were well maintained with plenty of fridge space. The rooms were very clean on arrival and just as expected. Geert was very accomodating. Taxis for all of us into Ghent would have been €240 however a 30 min walk to the loc train station saved us a lot of money. "

"The property is very spacious and very much the traditional french/belgian country style. Rooms were big, great for a large family like ours. The private pool and hot tub were the star attractions, gorgeous and very clean and inviting. Sergio was easy to deal with and the process was very straightforward. "We enjoyed our stay on the barge. It made for an interesting overnight stop on our road trip. We had to watch the children by the water / on the entry to the boat - but all was fine. There are two beds and a sofa bed - which converted to a bed easily. We went to the nearby pizza restaurant, which was very nice."

"Very strange "kitchen" with a stove put on top of what was a bar and is extremely high. No extraction hood so its mpossible to cook. Bathroom without window or extraction fan. Constant noise right outside the door. The ad says the owner speaks French and English but they don't speak a word of English. We did not see the super well equipped place mentioned in other reviews. We do not recommend this place."

"The room was a great stay for a family. We got the Luxe room with two bedrooms all on one level. Which was great for traveling with small children. I understand the next sized room has stairs and I wouldn’t have wanted that with a baby but the room we got was perfect. We also had an actual bathtub, again, something that makes life easier when traveling with toddlers. The rooms look a bit outdated but we had everything we needed, it was peaceful, clean, a wonderful breakfast, and close to the Hallerbos and Brussels by 35-45 minutes. Would definitely choose it again. And all for a more affordable price than staying in the city. "
