This is my 3rd time renting from Emily and it was fantastic!!! Clean, organized and communication with her was excellent. Highly recommended and will be staying again in the future!!!
We had a very nice stay. Didn’t catch any trout, but the bass were plentiful. It was a bit far to launch our boats into the water, but we worked it out. All in all, a nice stay and very thankful for the AC as we had very hot weather that week. Very Good communication with our host, always responded to our questions in a timely manner. A beautiful Property on a clean & beautiful lake.
Emily’s place was amazing. We traveled with 2 other families and we all had our own space. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the lake which is beautiful. Everything about this place was perfect. Will definitely stay here again and again!!
My family and friends enjoyed a long weekend snowmobiling and ice fishing at this house. The lake has easy access to the snowmobile trails and the fishing was fun. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit and the amenities provided. The bald eagle’s nest next to the house was a bonus. The house is exactly as advertised and very well stocked with everything we could have needed. We will definitely stay there again in the future.
Beautiful spot on the lake, very private. Stayed with family to view the solar eclipse and it was perfect. Plenty of room - and fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, spices, etc.) and bathroom to make it easy to just arrive (best to arrive with groceries though - it takes awhile to get back to any shops!). Bald eagles (and a golden eagle sighting) were quite a bonus.
Very nice camp, more room on 2nd floor than expected which is great for ice fishing gear. Nice to have 2 full baths. Good spot on the lake for winter fishing. Host was helpful and everything when smoothly. Would stay here again for sure!
The cottage was clean - fully stocked and very welcoming! The lake is amazing: we jumped off the big rock, anchored, swam at sandy cove, fished, tubes and explored. The use of the kayaks was fun! We loved our time at the firepit and sitting on the dock, too! Our family would love to return to this little piece of heaven! ❤️
Clean, functional and private property with a great outdoor and waterfront area on a beautiful lake. The a/c was a savior and the host is always making thoughtful upgrades to the property. Have rented two years in a row and would rent again! The host is always polite and responsive to any questions or concerns
This was a mid November vacation with my son. The cabin was warm and cozy at the end of a very quiet road. It was very comfortable with soft furniture to relax in after miles of hiking in nearby state parks. The lake was amazing and just a few steps from the back porch with kayaks and a canoe for our use. This cabin is perfect for a quiet get away or a couple families going on vacation. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and dishes.
This is a large roomy clean cabin right on the lake! It is well stocked with anything you could need. It has a very private setting with a big lot. It was just my husband and I and our puppy but it could easily accommodate a couple of families. And the lake!!!! So much beauty and fun! Beautiful fall kayaking - it was a dream stay. Also, great communication from the hostess Emily.
Our stay at the Schoodic Lake cabin was absolutely fantastic! The cabin is a real gem—cozy, comfortable, and beautifully situated right by the lake in a very private corner of the shore drive. The location is nothing short of amazing, with breathtaking views and fishing right off the property - good size smallmouth bass visit the shore regularly. We had a wonderfully relaxing week surrounded by nature, and the serene atmosphere of the lake was just what we needed. Emily was incredibly accommodating: without going into personal details - I am simply speechless for what she did for us. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience!
Beautiful spot, everything included and great host
This place has a beautiful lakefront on a big clean lake with a bald eagle nest nearby. The camp is nicely secluded with plenty of space for guests and parking. The AC was a game changer as our week was very hot and it was nice to sleep in the comfy beds with cool temps. The camp had everything. It’s not a lie when they say all you have to bring are food and drinks. Lastly, Emily answered all of my questions very quickly and was polite throughout the process. We might book again next year!
Very impressed with this home.
Central air really was a blessing as it was very hot and muggy weather. We arrived to a clean and tidy place with lots of amenities. Spices, pots, pans, a large refrigerator and K_cups for the Keurig. Plenty of towels and bed linens.
There is a Bald Eagle nest right next to the property with mum and eaglet, and it was so wonderful to observe the eaglet "branching".
The deck going out to the water was very helpful with sturdy stairs leading you right into the water for a swim. One of us has limited mobility and it was great that she could access the lake safely.
Absolutely recommend this rental!!!
We had a wonderful stay at the property. We came in super late due to an emergency and had a bit of difficulty getting into the unit, but Emily responded so quickly, it was wonderful. We were completely exhausted so come morning to wake up to the lapping sound of the lake was amazing. The cabin was cozy but roomy for our family and pup. Emily provided, kayaks, life vests, dog toys, plenty of chairs for enjoying the fire pit and lake. And for anyone who brings their dogs, it was amazing to find a place that so welcoming to fur babies. Do note there are two houses near by and to respect the other properties. If your dog has good recall, this place still gives your pup enough room to spread out, run, and swim. We took long walks in the mornings along the numerous and extensive dirt roads. And anyone who loves nature will love the bald eagle nest right near by. We were saddened not to get a glimpse of the massive birds. We would definitely stay at this property again.
We enjoyed a four night stay at the camp. We were there to ice fish. The camp is very well stocked with everything that you can possibly think of. We loved the location on the lake and the views of Katahdin. Emily was quick to answer any questions that I had.
As always the place was perfect and we had everything we needed....if I could give it 10 stars I would. The host is always a message away and very responsive! We will definitely be back!!!
