The surrounding area of the Yorkshire Wolds inspired the famous David Hockney paintings, and walkers and cyclists can enjoy the gentle undulating hills and stunning scenery. Local attractions include the South Cave Falconry with its collection of owls and birds of prey, and North Cave Wetlands, a Yorkshire Wildlife Trust Reserve. In the neighbouring village of North Cave, families with children can enjoy the facilities of the popular William’s Den.
