Lovely clean and comfortable room. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Perfectly located and fit for purpose.

Everything was great

Stayed at the Orchid over the bank holiday. We had a heatwave and was thankful the rooms had Air Con! Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. One room very nice, had queen bed maybe that was executive. Other room was a little small and did have some stains on the carpet, needed touching up. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Hotel foyer and bar done very nicely and a pretty courtyard area. Have to pay for parking but it’s a great location and parking is a nightmare in Bournemouth. 5-10 min walk down to the pier. Would stay again

Room only. Website said self parking but this was at the back of the hotel and run by a different company, another £35. Hotel was tired. Lift broken down but small service one working for the bags but we used the stairs. Outdoor pool was dirty. Check in was not until 16.00. We had a coach of youth rugby players and staff staying at the hotel so we had kids running about the bar and disturbances in the corridors late at night and the fire alarm was set off twice at two in the morning. (somebody smoking in the rooms) Hotel is in a good position for a short walk to the beach. and pier area. I left my bag in the bar at night and the staff had it at reception for me the next day a great indication of honesty. We didn't use the restaurant for breakfast or dinner so can;t comment on this area of the hotel. I had also booked a room for friends who were on the same floor and they experienced the same disrupted nights sleep.
