    Nature & Environment
One of the most memorable parts of staying in a Broken Bow cabin is being surrounded by nature. Because this property is located in a wooded setting, guests may encounter wildlife and seasonal elements during your stay.

Deer, squirrels, raccoons, turkeys, and other native wildlife are commonly seen throughout the area. The cabin is professionally treated for pests, though occasional insects such as spiders, mosquitoes, beetles, ladybugs, or wasps may still appear, particularly during seasonal transitions or rain.

During spring months, pollen from surrounding pine trees may collect on outdoor surfaces despite cleaning efforts before arrival.

Keeping doors and screens closed whenever possible helps maintain a comfortable indoor environment throughout your stay.

We encourage guests to enjoy the peaceful surroundings while remaining respectful of neighboring cabins and the natural environment. Sound travels easily throughout the forested area.

    What To Bring
We recommend bringing groceries, condiments, cooking oils and seasonings, personal toiletries, coffee and creamers, bug spray for mosquitoes and ticks, ice, and firewood with fire starters for the outdoor firepit.

Housekeeping provides a limited starter supply of essential items, including:

Mission Trip stay

It was overall good. Our sink wasn’t working so had to figure that out. But I did appreciate someone was sent. When the power went out there were no candles or lights at all.

Thanksgiving 2024

The house worked well for our large group. However, there were no wine glasses or kitchen towels. For the size of place we expected to find a couple large enough skillets/pots to cook for out large group. There were large spiderwebs and there was an infestation of lady bugs in master bedroom downstairs and a family of wasps in an upstairs bedroom.

Not what is listed

I will never rent this property again. It’s not what was advertised. There’s not 6 king sized beds, it’s 5 king beds and 1 regular bed with no door on the room. There wasn’t enough remote controls to each room. My family and I were there 5 days and couldn’t get in the hot tub because it was dirty and nothing to clean it with as advertised. There wasn’t a ping pong table in the game room as advertised. The basketball game was upstairs which was very annoying because we had kids with us when it should have been downstairs in the game room. We paid cleaning fees and had to do some cleaning before we left. The property is a joke and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone until the owner makes some changes.
