The water was apx 150-200 yards away. We were able to leave our boat in the water by their small dock. We shopped for the week before we left and were glad we did. The owners live right across the street and are very very friendly. When we got there we didn’t have chicken broth or flour to make our gumbo and they lent us some. You may not be exactly on the water but after a short walk you can go to a small deck and see the water and it’s great for doing fireworks down there during the holidays.. The beds downstairs were very comfortable and were very easy to sleep in. And the house is extremely clean and represented well on the advertisement. You are literally may be two blocks away from the entrance to Powell part which is so handy. The only two setbacks were one the Internet and phone was not very strong on the reception, And also plan to Wash dishes because there’s not a dishwasher.
