There is also an array of amenities and activities in the area such as water sports, beaches, and an open-air seawater lido at Shoalstone. Head out further and explore the rest of the English Riviera and picturesque South Hams, which could include a short drive to Noss Marina in Kingswear where you can take the ferry across the water to popular Dartmouth. Other attractions easily accessible from here include Paignton Zoo (5.5 miles), Agatha Christie's Greenway House (3.5 miles), Dartmoor National Park (16 miles) and the stunning cathedral city of Exeter (30 miles).
