Airport stay

Pros: The main thing on this occasion was its location.
Cons: My room was in the old stables, small and compact, ideal for one night, but not quite adequate for a long holiday.
Location: Location ideal for me. Had no time for anything outside the hotel.
A pleasant location, ideal for an early flight from Bristol Airport. Lovely grounds. Neat, compact bedroom, very clean. No fault of hotel staff, but the shower tap developed a leak overnight, which left the bathroom floor rather wet before being used. This was pointed out in the morning. Everyone was pleasant, the evening meal and Continental breakfast, at 4am were very good, as was the 5am shuttle to the airport. I would stay there again.

Awkward to get to

Road leading to the hotel was full of pot holes. Staff were extremely unfriendly. Room was very basic and not very clean. The only good thin was the shower. Wouldn't stay here again and was over priced for what you got

excellent value for money set in extensive grounds. restaurant provides very good and well prepared food. a few minor points of niggle. 11/2 biscuit in room. none other on premises. Would definitely use again if in area

overnight stay en-route to a holiday in Jersey. after a good nights sleep and excellent breakfast a speedy transfer to the airport made a very pleasant start to our holiday.

Close to airport for early morning flight

Located in a rural area close to Birstol airport. A 10 minute drive to airport so was convenient for early flight out.

Last resort hotel.

Unfortunately the hotel has seen better times and needs some TLC, entering the hotel it looks shabby from the weeds on the terrace to the paint work. The bedroom smelt quite damp and was very basic. In its favour the dining room and bar areas are nice. I paid for parking while I was on my trip with a shuttle to the airport which is 5 minutes away. On arrival at Bristol airport there is a phone behind the information desk to call the hotel for pick up. The hotel has your flight number giving access to your exact arrival time so I think a 20 minute wait for the shuttle is too long.The reason I chose the hotel over the Holiday Inn was its easy access and shuttle service offered.On my return to the hotel there was no record of my parking payment and I was asked to pay again before I was given my keys. I can't reccomended the hotel for these reasons and there are better choices nearby.

Pros: lovely clean friendly
Location: the location is very peaceful with wonderful views did not check out things to do
we had a pleasant stay with some delicious food the staff were friendly and helpful also met some interesting people who were staying there would use this hotel again and definately reccomend to family and friends

Very poor service. Ignored on arrival as they were having to book another guest out. The "manager" on duty had attitude like I have not seen for a long time. And to be honest the rest was ok but the managers attitude really spoilt it for us. Our duck was overcooked but they did offer to replace it. We were told that we could not have the GM's email address as she doesn't want it to be given to guests???? Clearly really interested in what her guests have to say!!
