Mountain View Retreat

We traveled to New England to view the Fall Colors and relax. The mountain side home gave us beautiful vistas from inside and while enjoying the decks. The home was very comfortably furnished and clean! We cooked some meals while there and the kitchen had everything we needed. There quite a few steps to enter the house and the home is three levels. It worked great for our group; young children or restricted mobility individuals may have difficulties. The property and management were great and I would highly recommend.

We had a fabulous stay at Alex's place! There was so much space and we loved having the multiple TVs for coming back at the end of the day and relaxing. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

What a lovely lake house in an amazingly beautiful area of NH. Property was very clean, comfortable and plenty of space to spread out or come together. The host was very responsive and has a well put together welcome guide to the house with area activities. The deck was our main social hub for our meals, visiting & reconnecting as well as game nights. The private balcony off the master bedroom was very romantic with its sunset lake view. Although we were intentionally impressed with having a smart TV available in virtually every room, we found that we rarely watched them. We had great weather and there was so much natural beauty to the property and neighborhood. We heard the loons several mornings. Also we watched many fish protecting their beds and eggs. The water is THAT clear. The Fire pit on the patio was a very nice touch from the host and we found ourselves gathered there on a few evenings. As one review mentioned there are many stairs in and around the property and one of the routes to the private beach is quite steep. This may be difficult for littles and persons with physical difficulty. We found it to be a wooded adventure that gave the right amount of daily exercise mixed with so much ample relaxation. The beach is worth the efforts. Also, the outdoor shower gives opportunities to cool down and rinse off sand before you enter the house.
