Our room was large and well-appointed and very quiet. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The buses to Temple Meads stopped directly outside. There was a was a wide range of food available for breakfast. However, we would have liked some muesli and the various milk-based coffees were only luke-warm.

We had a standard twin room, which was enormous. We were moving out of university halls into a student house and had 5 suitcases and 3 large bags. Reception helped us with our luggage and the room was large enough for it not to be an inconvenience.

We arrived before 3pm to drop off our cases and were allowed to check into our room just after 12 at no extra cost. This was very helpful. Breakfast was just right and dining room nicely placed to look over the Watershed area of Bristol.
