Cold Ashton is a sleepy village with no facilities within walking distance. Marshfield is the closest town which has a couple of pubs and a general store. The owner of Rose Cottage, Monika, is extremely helpful and friendly. Rose Cottage is perfect for couples or families with young children. The log fire in the front room was great to come home to after a day's walking or cycling. We had a wonderful holiday. Thank you!
