Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy. This spacious beach house boasts room for all the family with open plan kitchen, 2 living areas, 4 bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. Features of this luxury home are: large master bedroom with King bed and ensuite, 3 other bedrooms with 2 Queen and 2 Single beds. There is also a single bed in the downstairs lounge allowing a total of 9 guests. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with ample crockery, cutlery, bowls and dishes, coffee machine, microwave and dishwasher. There are ceiling fans throughout and the laundry has a top load washer and clothes dryer. WIFI supplied and the house is fully airconditioned. The front and back yards are both securely fenced and the garage has internal access. Property Specific Notes \* Pets allowed. No more than 2 dogs. \* If Wifi is offered it is a complimentary extra. This holiday home has everything! The kitchen is the most well stocked of any holiday rental I’ve ever stayed at - including cocktail shakers, beer coolers, heaps of platters, bakeware and every utensil ever invented. It has 2 fridges, great laundry and an excellent deck with big table and BBQ. This rental was extremely clean and well maintained. The beds really comfortable and rooms spacious. The lounge suite upstairs is broken. The BBQ had to be scrubbed before we could use it. Over 3 levels with no carpet on the stairs, I had to carry my small dogs downstairs to the tiny grassed area to do their business. There was a lot of dog poo left on the lawn which was very disappointing. It is a great house and well positioned. It just needs a good clean and some new furniture. One of the wheelie bins had not been emptied and was full of maggots. No aircon in main bedroom is crazy with our humidity. No sea view as advertised and a lot of noise from street if you sit out on balcony. Check in and check out was easy. Ad states oceanviews but unfortunately the trees across the road have grown so much that they block the whole view from the deck (which was unfortunate for whale watching season). There was a partial view from the kitchen window, but defeats the purpose of booking an oceanview house where you cant see it from the main deck. Lots of stairs, which was fine for us, but FYI . Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could think of plus 2 fridge/freezers. Pet friendly houses are few and far between at Straddie, but this was a lovely modern house and great for pets (as long as they can walk stairs). The doggy door allowed access from laundry to the secured mini yard. We recommend this place, esp for a large family or group of friends / couples with their furry pets. Because of the young ages of the children, everyone had to stay on the middle & lower level. The master bedroom on the upper level was too far from the young children overnight. The back door (laundry) key was bent and unable to open. There were a few lamps that needed new globe. Some wall fixtures (towel rails) and knobs on drawers were broken. The blinds were dusty. Otherwise it was fantastic!
