Walk to beach. This large, beautifuly furnished and finished penthouse apartment is a true escape for two. It is perched high above the trees and enjoys limited water views but at night you cannot see another property and yet you are only mintues walk to all beaches including Cylinder, Deadmans and Frenchmans. It is also a short walk to shops, restaurants, the Straddie Hotel and pubic transport. Facilities: One bedroom (King Bed), Ensuite bathroom with full size bath, separate shower and dressing room. Second bathroom and toilet for visitors, including laundry with front load washing machine and dryer. The large open plan living and dining area has comfortable seating and opens onto a huge deck with large timber bi-fold doors. There is Foxtel and unlimited Wifi. The large wrap around deck has a large built in bbq and is the perfect spot to dine or just take in the quiet ambience of the area. Linen is supplied and beds are made for your arrival. We did this walk most mornings, it's about 7klm return of the most spectacular scenery. We saw Dolphins & plenty of Kangaroos.The apartment is close to Cylinders Beach which is patrolled by Surf Lifesavers daily from 9-5.In the same block is Foodworks & a Fish n Chip shop which is convenient.The apartment itself is clean & functional. This was a five star stay and we would definitely stay here again! bifold doors opening onto the lovely deck in the treetops. There are ocean glimpses, but no real views. Located in the same triangle as Bob's Foodworks, the Post Office and a fish & chip shop, it is surprisingly quiet. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped, including coffee pod machine (with some coffee pods to get you started). It would have been great to have some stock alfoil, baking paper, glad wrap and paper towel. The Beefeater BBQ was excellent. We couldn't adjust the fridge temperature, but have mentioned to the Real Estate on departure. Loved the king size bed, it was super comfy.
