Good location, nicely presented and good for families but needs updates. Surface cleaning fine but maintenance and Spring Clean required. No keys left as indicated and had to chase them from real estate. No A/C on an unfortunately hot weekend. Could do with hooks and some hangers in the downstairs bedrooms. But an enjoyable stay.

Okay for short stay. Road noise and no wifi or Optus reception make this tricky. Simple Accom and no hearing in winter so take some warm layers. Kitchen utensils need some attention.

The property was suitable for our holiday but the cleaning of one bath room and toilet had not been carried out and were not in a good state.The washing machine was not working when we arrived and took nearly 2 weeks to be repaired.

Bad rental. Bad agency. No working television (no reception, old analogue TV. Super cheap landlord). No wifi or internet. No phone reception. Not built in sections of the 'house'. Spiders.. MOZZIES. dirty property. Bad value. Good location if it was insulated or noise proofed. Will not return nor will I use agency again. Complained about tv and they were indifferent.

the property is not what the pictures show. It's in need of some maintenance. the doors couldn't even open properly and a repairer had to be called in. the furniture was about 20 years old and should be in the dump. cobwebs everywhere and cieling fans where loaded with dust so couldn't be used. however the worst part was that there is no internet connection. in todays age this should be a standard or at the very least noted on the property details.

The house was in a great location. Unfortunately we paid a lot of money and it was filthy. The bedding was disgusting, cobwebs everywhere, dust all through on the blinds, sils, floor and beneath the beds - dirty old foam under the bed. It was not cleaned - food wrappers on the floor, dirty towel and dirty bathroom, dirty microwave and oven, table on the deck had food stuck on it, bird poo all over the railings, cupboards filthy with cockroach poo and clutter, no warm blankets, downstairs bedrooms were dirty, cushions in the lounge disgusting and old. Words cannot describe our encounter for $360 per night. This should not be allowed. I took photographs as I did not think people would believe what we walked into.

Great, affordable holiday rental in a good location but house maintenance and cleanliness needs to be vastly improved. There was pet hair on the lounges, hair and dust under the beds, mould on the downstairs blinds and the mattress and pillow protectors were filthy. The smoke alarms downstairs were also disconnected. A leaking water pipe shut down the hot water for 4 days, and although it's understandable getting a plumber is hard at the moment and during a long weekend, no compensation or alternative was offered. Overall a well set up house, just needs to be better looked after.

Booked on a third party site only to eventually find it cheaper on the local realestate site.
Location, central to all you wish too do on the point side of the island, you can walk to all locations. Outside veranda, great for the winter northern sun. Kitchen, run the dishwasher through the day if you wont to sleep at night, you wont cut yourself with the knives, twelve different fork sets and five knife sets, yet adequate numbers, NO tongs at all, you tend to burn your hands when turning food on the BBQ with a fork.
Lounge room great size and well equiped with books and DVDs, TV is great if you only wish to watch 7 as the other stations are like watching a snow blizzard, in saying that the DVDs worked well through the TV.
Bathrooms, cracked tiles and grout lines in them, should check that water isn't getting through to the structure behind. if you intend using the on-suit toilet take your Rodeo outfit, the seat hinged point is broken and you'll do well to hold on. O not one peace of toilet paper in the place upon arrival, great starters pack. Bath rooms require a Major clean along with all the spider webs which are on both the inside and out side, been there a while by the look of the wild life entangled in them. With a bit of TLC and maintenance the Boatshed will be back to its glory days.

Great location
Best value for money, Walking distance to our favourite beach and close to shops. house had a good layout and very comfortable. could do with a new couch as it was a bit old uncomfortable and mouldy. the house could do with a good clean. Would definitely be back

Old and dated lodgings but that is reflected in the budget price. Upstairs OK but downstairs bedrooms really bad mould smell. Desperately needs upgrading of dcor/bed and bedding.

Excellent position
Lovely place, excellent balcony for relaxing and unwinding. Fantastic position opposite general store and very close to nearby patrolled beaches. Easy walk to hotel. Nice personal touch with a library of books and magazines. Only thing that could be improved is mozzie screens. Bring some repellent or coils!

Great location and price
I stayed in October 2014 for 3 nights. Basic place with everything you need. Quite clean and a great location. Walk to the IGA corner store and the pub.
Only thing it really needs is fly screens. Bring some incect Repellant.
