The house is well maintained, equipped and comfortable. The waterfront view is perfect for the sunrise, sunset and any other time of day, we enjoyed sitting on the dock by the water having coffee/drink and just enjoying and relaxing. The deck has a grill, chairs so it was perfect for an outdoor meal! The closest cities have stores, restaurants and other facilities to visit. There are plenty of nature nearby so you can decide if you want to go to the beach or up the mountains. It was spacious enough for us and our 4 kids, everyone had their own space. The view was beautiful. We spend a lot of time on the deck as it was so quiet and peaceful. We all enjoyed watching the seals in the water in the evening and hearing them in the middle of the night! The driveway is a very sharp turn in and we struggled to find the driveway at first. We then learned to look for the wind sock at the top of the driveway. Our big SUV barely made the turn in We were visiting the peninsula and Olympic National Park. This place worked well for places on the east side of the park. The only reason we didn't stay here for our entire trip was because of the distance to the rest of the park.
