"Comfortable room with great shower and deep bath. Room could be better with a coffee machine as Nescafé instant coffee isn’t great. Bed was very comfy and room quiet. We enjoyed our brief stay. Hotel lounge area has bulky chairs that aren’t really very comfortable and they clutter up the room! "

"The property was clean and pre-warmed for our arrival. Check in was effortless and quick although no direction was given for return of keys if departing early. The bed was extremely comfortable A downside was the difficulty in accessing the designated car park; it is too small for medium/large SUVs."

"Merry Moose is a great place to stay for a few days in the Clare Valley. Modern amenities, wood fire and all the provisions you could want, and really well located between the local settlements and wineries.Traffic noise from the adjacent main road was the only downside which might affect some, but otherwise highly recommended."

"We stayed 3 nights in the sunset cabin and had an amazing time in this cute and cosy cabin.Its very private and has great views.The log fire was definitely a highlight for those cold and frosty nights. The location is great and close to lots of wineries and pubs. We would definitely recommend and will stay again for our next Clare Valley visit. Thank you. "

"Great elevated rural location close to town.Very peaceful Shower head in second bathroom needs replacing/ cleaned. Shower curtain in second bathroom needs to be longer as water goes all over the floor beyond the shower.Great welcome pack of bread, egggs, bacon, butter, jams, sauces & a bottle of wine. "We absolutely loved our stay at the cotrage. We both love gardens, so it's setting in a garden was the icing on top of an already great experience.Generous breakfast supplies, a complementary bottle of wine and cheese as well as fire wood being topped up during our stay made us feel very welcomed. Having a fire on a cold night is such a joy!The Smart TV allowed me to cast Amazon Prime and a fitness app that I use from my phone to the TV. Perfect!We also used some of the vouchers that are ptovided for guests. Thank you Alana and Kay for making our stay perfect."
