"Sehr schöne, saubere Doppelhaushälfte, in naturnaher Umgebung, nahe eines Bauernhofes. Am Anreisetag wurde uns das Nötigste vom Vermieter persönlich und freundlich erklärt. Um in die grösseren Orte (Port Ellen und Bowmore) zugelangen, sollte man aber schon etwas Fahrzeit einrechnen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt, abgesehen vom stürmischen Wetter, sehr genossen."

"We had a wonderful stay. The house was very comfortable and walking distance to Bruichladdich and Port Charlotte. It was a great location for us and we enjoyed many delicious meals nearby"

"Although it said seaview room, this did not happen. Beds were clean and comfy. We were put in a disable room (that none of us needed) there was a trip hazard with carpet between bedroom & bathroom. The wet room which had poor drainage and after 3 people showered the water flooded the whole bathroom. Without us putting down towels water would have seeped into bedroom. During our 3 night stay there was no change of towels or beds made although someone had been in the room to empty bins. For the price paid I would have expected a better standard of accommodation. Breakfast was fine, but only offered gluten free bread as an option."

"Well equipped, cozy cottage in one of the nicest parts of Islay . The photos are pretty accurate. but Lochindaal is lovely as is Port Charlotte both easily accessible from the cottage. The wee log /coal burner was surprisingly effective. Bring slightly smaller logs if you’re bringing your own. Loved Islay our trip was helped by great weather, a comfortable base, fantastic scenery as well as the whisky. Hope to be back soon. Margaret"

"Good location, near the harbour in Bowmore Room very good, very clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom with bath Property is currently changing hands, the sale completed this week As per previous reviews the previous owner served full Scottish cooked breakfast- the new owner is just doing prepared continental breakfast boxes which you help yourself to from the fridge We were not expecting this and were quite disappointed. There is nowhere in Bowmore where you can get breakfast so be aware"
