Unique and bright apartment with large private terrasse, exceptional Mountain Views over Serre Chevalier ski resort and located within the ramparts of Briancon’s historic city ‘La Vielle Ville’/city Vauban. Free parking pass provided during your stay for parking at Champs de Mars (two passes provided for stays of 7 nights or more).
Restaurants and shops are a 2 minute walking distance and Serre Chevalier ski lift 7 minute drive away.
The property was completely renovated in December 2020.

This family-friendly Briançon apartment building is located in the mountains, just steps away from Vauban Fortress and Collegiate Church of Our Lady and St. Nicolas. Stade de Slalom and Park House Briancon are also within 10 minutes. Briancon (XBC-Briancon Train Station) is 22 minutes by foot and Briançon Station is 22 minutes.

A very well-equipped, clean, comfortable and modern apartment right in the heart of Briancon's old town, with stunning views and super hosts.
As three friends spending a few days cycling the area this was the perfect apartment to use as our base. The hosts Kathryn and Pete, from the UK, were very welcoming and friendly, as well as understanding to our request for storing our bikes overnight in the apartment, for peace of mind.
There was free parking (arranged by Kathryn and Pete) just 150m away outside the old town gates, and they also gave us an access pass to go through the gates to allow unloading/loading activities, which made arrival and departure so much easier.
Located overlooking the western wall of Briancon old town the location was stunning, with mountain views to the south and west, great for enhancing a few evening drinks after a hard day on the bike. Then a short 50m walk through a side alley next to the apartment and we were right in the centre of Briancon old town, with its restaurants and shops.
Panorama Cafe is located right below the apartment, run by Kathryn and Pete, giving a lively and vibrant atmosphere as people were sitting out enjoying their drinks on the main terrace. However, the apartment's own wooden terrace also gives a very nice outdoor private seating area, away from public view, giving the best of both worlds.
The apartment was recently renovated to a very high standard, with all needs (cooking, cleaning, washing, bedding, towels etc) catered for. Good kitchen/cooking facilities as well as a washer drying (which we used and worked well!). And most importantly, strong WiFi ...!!
The 2 downstairs bedrooms were a good sized with double beds, and the upstairs mezzanine rooms were also well equipped with twin beds. They do have a low ceiling height, which didn't impact us (and kids would love the "loft room" feel), but that may be difficult for some, so it's something to be aware of and consider.
There were two small toilet/shower rooms nearly fitted just outside the downstairs bedrooms, giving functionality and flexibility to the arrangements.
All in all a very enjoyable apartment to spend time exploring the area from, with very friendly hosts making the whole experience stress free and easy.
We're all considering staying here again if revisiting the region, with either family or friends. Highly recommended.

La location est très jolie, bien décorée, agréable et sa grande terrasse est un vrai plus !
Il bénéficie de l'avantage d'être au cœur du vieux Briançon mais cela est aussi un inconvénient lors des manifestations nocturnes (concerts, spectacles...) c'est bruyant et gênant pour bien dormir.
Kathryn est très sympathique, arrangeante et tres réactive. Nous avons été très bien accueilli !
