The Bretton-Woods Omni Hotel is a historic, smaller hotel a short walk or shuttle from the larger Omni Mount Washington Resort. The rooms and beds were comfortable. Both of these hotels are a 15 minute drive to the Cog Train to the top of Mount Washington. It was a unique experience that I am glad we experienced.

The first thing that springs to mind is how much the staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and that our time would feel special. The room was great, and the included breakfast and our dinner at the restaurant were exceptional. Convenience to the xc skiing and the pool/hottub amenities was great!

Overall, my stay was good. Thankfully, the temperatures were mild because the air conditioning unit had visible mildew that appeared not to have been cleaned in quite some time. The more significant issue, however, was my experience at the front desk. My interactions with one younger woman at check in and one older gentleman while requesting a shuttle to an event were disappointing. They came across as unprofessional and unprepared for their roles. Their behavior was unexpected and not at all welcoming. Fortunately, several other staff members provided outstanding service and helped improve my overall stay. Unfortunately, first impressions matter, and the front desk experience is what will most likely stay with me when reflecting on or recommending this property.

Less expensive than the mount Washington resort but shares all the amenities. Wonderful staff. Nice included continental breakfast. Easy access to the Mount Washington resort. We do suspect our room may have been haunted but could have just been squirrels on the roof but then again.

Great property next to the big hotel. Super quiet, super friendly front desk personnel. The restaurant is really good and the price is excellent. The grounds are something else, specially the path between this hotel and main one. On the negative perhaps the AC could be updated for a quieter split, it would wake you up every times the compressor kicks in.

A very beautiful old fashioned country Inn

Beautiful rooms, great breakfast. Be sure to book early for dinner at the restaurant, as they get full, especially for earlier time slots. (And are closed Mondays and Tuesdays). It was nice to have access to the amenities of the resort and the Mount Washington Hotel nearby, like the swimming pool.
