The property was a very short distance from downtown Brenham. We also enjoyed the firepit and friendly felines that roamed the property. The a/c worked great, the bedrooms were cozy and although it may seem small at first glance it was more than enough space for 4 adults and 6 kids. The back yard is huge and the fire pit is nice (I would recommend bringing some chairs for this though). There is a small carport to keep most of your vehicle out of the sun that came in handy during this hot summer. We were only minutes away from the Blue Bell factory as well as the Blue Bell aquatic center. HEB and Walmart as well as pharmacies and restaurants were all less than 10 minutes away. Great location. The home is located on a busy road, but the listing was unclear as to its exact location. We were early risers, but this could be a bit problematic for those wanting to sleep past 6am because traffic gets noisy after that time. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were nice. We didn't really cook or use the kitchen much, but it had everything that anyone would need to make a meal. It also had a coffee bar with all the necessary items, including the coffee! That was very much appreciated. Included is a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, although we did not use it during our stay. The home wasn't dirty, but there were a few items that had been overlooked by the cleaning crew like the fridge and baseboards. Plenty of sleeping areas. It was a quick, direct trip to and from the cattle barn on the very hot days. Covenant to everything we needed. Plenty of hot water and linens to shower when getting in from a hot day at the barn. We were not fans of the TV system (complicated and could not get local info) but Wi-Fi worked well.
