The hotel was okay for the price....nothing fantastic, but okay. The sink in the bathroom did have a leak and we told the front desk about it when we checked out. Hopefully they will have it fixed for the next customer.

The room had a smell fridge didn’t work floors weren’t very clean bathroom vanity faucet had couple black strands of hair hanging from it upon entering the room was hot and a roach crawling on wall the bed was good the front desk lobby area was immaculate deceiving for the rooms this was all in my parents room

Overall this is a good option for a no frills hotel. We felt safe at the hotel and the staff at the front desk were very kind. The hotel is convenient and close to everything. Parking is free and plentiful. The hotel needs some updating and new carpet. The bed was comfortable, sheets and towels were clean and everything worked. No complaints. 👍

I was scared because of the reviews, but the vibe here is nice, the staff are friendly, nothing feels dangerous or anything. The pillows were thin so I brought my own and things definitely need updates but I hope this place makes some small changes because it is retro and had more character than some of the more "upscale" chains next to the highway

Did not like the fact that the people upstairs had kids that were just running around in the room and i could hear it all in the room also the sink bathroom in that room had a leak and i called the front desk to let them know about it and it never got fixed

It was ok. The vending machines were empty and the room wasn't the cleanest. Could hear the people upstairs most of the night. Not the best but not the worst.

Way overpriced for this type of motel/hotel. Very outdated. Rooms stink. A/c didn't work in 1 of rooms. For construction workers only type cheap place. Doors to buildings don’t lock. Room doors deadbolt doesn’t work. No roaches seen but fully expected type place.

The room smelt like urine and door knobs where missing along with light bulbs and drawers in the dresser also the front door had huge gaps where you can look into the room. We stand for a couple hours and left.

Pleasantly surprised
Pleasantly surprised. Last time we stayed here it was smelly and dirty. This stay was total opposite. The room was clean, didn’t smell bad. The front desk staff was friendly.

Room smells very musty, both chairs had torn peeling vinyl seats, bathroom had no door knob on outside of door so you couldn’t close and latch it. Very disappointed with this room

Americas Best Inn needs upgrades.
The staff overall are friendly and helpful. The facility is older and is in need of update. The room had a mild musty smell that we tried to counter with Febreze. If the facility was updated, they would have my business again for sure. The location is good in our opinion close to the historic areas of Brenham.

I’ve stayed at this brand of hotels before I guess the ones I’ve stayed at are more updated . This location is not a good one . It was old and run down and the room’s definitely show that . I was moved rooms 3 times each time something else was wrong with it . They need to make sure they clean the bathrooms . I don’t want to stay anywhere they don’t take the time to clean off the toilet it just tells me what else they haven’t cleaned. There was blood on the toilet in not one room but two !

Great location for shopping, food , entertainment , and exploring Brenham. The staff was really nice, nice clean room , quiet property . I will recommend this location to friends and family traveling to Washington County .

Nice and quiet
Overall good stay...just need to spray for bugs a bit....otherwise clean rooms nice and quiet...also maybe think about more pillows and/or better more fluffy pillows.

It was disgusting. The carpet was damp and dirty. Every time I stepped on the carpet I felt how dirty it was. The room also smelled like cat urine. I barely was able to sleep because of the bad smell and uncomfortable pillows. And to top it off, I saw a roach roaming around the sink at 3 am. Also, the nightstand had a big white streak on the side. It looked like semen that has not been cleaned off. Overall, I would never come back to this place. It was disgusting. I can’t comment on the continental breakfast because I refused to eat there. Thank you but no thank you.

There were dead roaches under the bed, old food, and bugs of which I am unable to identify. It was very dirty. We even did the upgraded rooms. They did return our money and without a question. Would not stay.

Was skeptical but it was great
Was very skeptical after reading the reviews. I had already booked and almost canceled because of the reviews. However, I found that it was recently remodeled, and very clean and the staff was very friendly and courteous. I would stay again.

This is a great budget option in Brenham. Friendly staff, quiet, near downtown dining, plenty of hot water. Clean, comfortable, well-lit, safe. If you are looking for a boutique hotel, this is not it. We enjoyed two nights here, having come to the area for a bicycling event nearby. Totally recommend.

Horribly misleading rooms
I guess you get what you pay for. The pictures on the website show an updated facility. New bright up to date rooms. NOPE! not the case, unless I got the raw in of the deal. The lobby is a sure distraction for what is about to come, at least in my experience. I believe it was room 307, as you entered i was thrown back into the '70's, but stayed positive. The room smelt musty, furniture was old as dirt, it really looked like an hourly motel room or where porn is shot. I was a bit skeptical to use toilet. Needless to say, we left after 3 hours. Would never return.

This property is old and tired. Bed was very uncomfortable, Grout in bathtub had mold, just generally overall worn out. The rooms in this property just need to be gutted and remodeled. The one positive note was the A/C, it worked great.

To start they had no soap and only one bottle of shampoo no conditioner. Next, visually the place looked clean unfortunately but smelled bad. Told office wanted non-smoking and when I called her she said it was a non smoking . But yet somehow still smelled like old smoke . The worst part is the place has roaches.
