Easy to reach from main train station by bus or street tram. All stop are very near the hotel Came here to see Kraftwerk concert. The venue Volkswagenhall is just a short walking distance which makes this hotel a bonus. Love the room is very clean and have all the amenities you need. Have a clean bath tub and can have a relaxing bath after all day on the road!

I booked and paid through Expedia for a Deluxe room with a double bed (or described as twin) but was allocated a single room. This was made known at reception. I was told it was to do with the messaging from Expedia. The rest of the hotel was fully booked so there wasn’t another option to correct the booking. Disappointing as I didn’t receive what I had booked and paid for.

Absolutely great hotel in th city, great Staff!!

Great hotel in the city center, great staff, Wi-fi was good, breakfast wonderful, Gym and Sauna in the premises. Would definitely book again if in Braunschweig.

Modern, comfortable hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Good location about 20 minute walk from the main station, close to the old town with it's wonderful squares and bars and close to the new shopping centres.

The allocated room in this travel is near the kitchen of hotel and there were some noise especially early in the morning. Others are ok.

Nothing DELUXE about this room

The so-called DELUXE single in a 4-start hotel. Hmm. First of all, what was good? Interesting and convenient location in the city centre, electronic check-in was easy, the small bathroom was immaculately clean. A box of tissues would not have been out of place for 4 stars. For the rest, look at my attached photos and spot the differences between advertised and actual appearance, and by "spot" I don't refer to the stained chairs and carpet. That would be too easy. The "Separate Seating Area" is nothing more than an added straight-back chair placed beside the other straight-back chair at the miniature work space. What you are led to expect is far from what you get: one uncomfortable basic chair 2 feet away from another equally uncomfortable chair. You could move it, but you would need a lamp. I have doubts about the advertised dimensions of the room. There is no alarm clock (contrary to the description) and the "coffee/tea maker" is just a kettle with some instant coffee and tea bags. The kettle is listed separately as an additional amenity. The WiFi is dodgy: stable with a PC computer, but difficult to connect to the internet and stay connected with Apple products. It was confirmed for me on check-out that this really was a DELUXE room. I wish it had at least just been an oversight. I've never had problems with Best Western before, but I can only recommend that this one be avoided until its rooms measure up to the misleading promotional material. But how would you know?

Sehr netter Empfang bei der Ankunft. Aber dann ging es leider nicht so prickelnd weiter. Das Zimmer roch merkwürdig. Wir hatten ein Doppelbett gebucht und hatten zwei zusammengeschobene Einzelbetten. Wir fanden im Badmülleimer alte Unterwäsche, nachdem wir es der Rezeption mitteilten kam das Housekeeping und reinigte den Mülleimer. Am nächsten Tag meinte der Herr an der Rezeption das nichts im Mülleimer gefunden worden wäre. Warum sollte wir uns so etwas ausdenken? Das Zimmer selbst war ok aber in keinster Weise wie das Deluxe Zimmer welches uns über Expedia angezeigt worden war. Am zweiten Abend war ein starker Rauchgeruch im Gang und im Zimmer obwohl es ein Nichtraucher Hotel ist. Wir haben der Rezeption Bescheid und die junge Dame suchte sofort nach der Ursache aber konnte es nicht klären. Die Mitarbeiter der Zimmerreinigung sind lautstark über den Gang von Zimmer zu Zimmer unterhaltend und Türen schlagend ebenfalls kontraproduktiv falls man ausschlafen möchte. Unter der Dusche ist der Wasserdruck minimal und man darf sich unter einem Rinnsal duschen. Und die Armaturen sind scharfkantig, so das man sich gleich mal die Finger aufschneidet. Alles in allem, einmal und nie wieder.

Gutes zentrales Hotel

Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen. Rezeption super freundlich. Eine unschöne Geste: Man muß die Zimmerreinigung ausdrücklich anfordern, ansonsten fällt diese ohne jegliche Gegenleistung stillschweigend weg. Mit einem Schreiben auf dem Bett wird darauf hingewiesen. Beim Einchecken kein Hinweis. In anderen Hotels wurde ich deutlich darauf hingewiesen und als Gegenleistung gab z. B. ein Cocktail je Person auf Kosten des Hauses

War komplett unzufrieden und würde es niemanden empfehlen. Parkplatz wurde versprochen aber nicht bereit gestellt. Keine Möglichkeit mit dem Auto vorzufahren um ein- und auszuhecken. Keine Möglichkeit i. d. Nähe zu parken. Und das nach 12 Stunden Workshop. Einfach nur gruselig

Vor dem Check In könnte ich mein Auto schon in die Tiefgarage stellen und auch nach dem Check Out noch etwas stehen lassen. Allerdings war es ohne Zimmerkarte schwierig ins Hotel zu kommen, da die Mitarbeiter -innen auch im Haus unterwegs sind und dann die Eingangstüre zu gemacht wurde. Auf der anderen Seite könnte man dadurch sicher sein, dass keine Fremden ins Hotel kamen. Alle waren sehr freundlich.

Das Hotel wird auf der Expediaseite und auch auf ihrer eigenen Internetseite wesentlich besser dargestellt wie es ist. Es ist alt und in die Jahre gekommen. Der Teppich auf den Fluren und in den Zimmern ist ekelig. Das Personal ist dafür sehr nett und sehr bemüht. Die Lage des Hotels ist zwar sehr Central, liegt aber auch direkt neben dem Rotlichtviertel, sodass es abends nicht toll ist, als Frau zu Fuß zum Hotel zu laufen. Ich finde das Hotel entspricht keiner 4 Sterne.
