Awesome Stay for Truman Graduation

We had a great time at the Lodge. Our extended family stayed for our daughter’s graduation from Truman State University. The lodge was even better than the pictures! Immaculately clean and well stocked with everything you could need.

This is our fifth year staying here. Such a beautiful setting and clean lodge. The kids all love playing in the rec room and we take full advantage of the kitchen. Thank you for a fun stay again.

Perfect family reunion venue

This spacious lodge has been our family's choice for our annual reunion for several years. Each year the owners seem to add more improvements that enhance our stay. Our grandchildren love the pond. The lodge is always clean and well maintained.

Family trip

We stayed at Lost Branch Lodge for our 9th Family Trip, and everyone voted this our favorite place so far. The lodge was so organized and clean. The host thought of everything to make our stay easy, convenient, fun, and relaxing. It is such a beautiful place, and our grandchildren absolutely loved the pond, sand beach, fishing, swimming, and canoeing. Perfect spot for our family to reconnect!

A+ in every way. Everything was super clean, including the lake which is important to us. Rec room was great for pickleball. Grandchildren loved the playground. Well-stocked kitchen. Seriously, look no further!

Beautiful Family Reunion Site

The facility is IDEAL for a family reunion! We had ages 4-90 on the property and it was comfortable for all. Kids played outside or in the pond or on the playground. Adults visited on the porch or in the living room. The kitchen is a perfect setup to entertain with a large center island for serving and a table that seats 14. Beautiful venue.

Incredible A Home Away from Home

Perfect gathering place for our Annual Christmas celebration! The lodge had INCREDIBLE amenities, fully and I mean fully stocked kitchen and cooking and utensils and appliances for preparing our full meals and eating as a large group for all our meals together! Such a warm cozy fun filled adventure to book and enjoy our family time together and enoughRoom to spread out and have private time or quiet time as needed for families and children. Would Definitely rebook and recommend for large groups. The multi propose room was a great place to gather for games and snacks and crafting/coloring/puzzle stations ands set up game areas to accommodate all age ranges! Thank you!

Games Galore

Year 27 of college friends gathering for some focused tournament style card games and table top games. This is a great central location to all involved, in a nice natural setting, but near enough Kirksville for food and such. Kitchen, dining, and living area is large, with the additional play room being great bonus space. Pond with beach and surrounding nature was beautifully arranged and kept, making for relaxing walks during breaks. Well suited for our needs. Expect a repeat!

Understanding Large Gatherings

The Lodge was just as represented. Very clean, well organized, and for those with children in a wide range of ages plenty for all to stay occupied. Most of all, the hosts are generous in every aspect of planning. The bedrooms have all that is needed for space, great to have queen beds in each and so wonderful that each have their own bathroom. There are plenty of extra paper products, Kleenexes in each room, blankets, pillows and towels, even a couple of hair dryers. The kitchen has everything you may need; crockpots, fry pan, electric griddle, toaster, 2 coffee pots, blender, hand mixer, plenty of serving trays, pitchers and drawers full of serving and kitchen utensils. Games, books, cards, and many things to play with for the REC room. They also have many folding tables and chairs for groups to gather to eat or play games, in addition to the beautiful long table with 14 chairs! The only suggestion for improvement would be check-out time a bit later. Connecting over breakfast and coffee before departing was a bit rushed; with the size of lodge and the amount of people to start the day together, breakfast, pack, clean, double and triple check that all was left in good condition and enjoy the process together 10 am comes so quickly. However, this would not stop us from booking again, the Lost Branch Lodge offers a wonderful place to slow down and connect. Thank you!!

The lodge was a great place to stay. There were age related activities available for everyone including Fishing, swimming, games, and playground equipment. The room accommodations were very comfortable. The kitchen was roomy and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay!
