9.2/10 Wonderful! (102 reviews)
Very social hostel with organized events planned. Great location, lots of shops and restaurants, free breakfast, free coffee machine close to the bus station, comfortable places to lounge, staff is super helpful, showers are hot, clean, and good value for your money. Areas that need improvement: Better communication in how to find the place. Need to mention that it's inside the McDonald's entrance. I kept hearing this explained time and again when it should already be explained in the directions. Also, clean the ashtray on the balcony area. Overall, it's arguably the best hostel I've stayed at out of 20+ different ones

The room was clean, and the pre-booking system for the spa facilities was very convenient and well organised. However, the staff could have been friendlier and more welcoming. The biggest disappointment was the Wi-Fi. It was extremely difficult to connect, which made the internet service very frustrating to use. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but the Wi-Fi issue definitely needs improvement.

Offered refund not via Expedia account but asked to provide my card details which is illegal. Refund was for broken shower which prevented to have it. No dishwashing liquid despite sponge and cooking facilities provided. Dirty mug, which obviously was there for a while. No hairdryer. This was my mistake to book here! Do not recommend

"Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. We picked this up at an incredible price, and whilst the usual price would be considered expensive for Riga, I’d have paid it.
