"This a good passing by, last minute hotel. It needs some renovations, breakfast was not good, we went somewhere else for that. Bed was ok, cleanliness could be improved."

"Easy to get to and catty-corner from an Albertson's so if you need snacks or supplies you can walk to it. Main concern was that the front was not well-lighted: hard to find after dark as it's in a residential area and the neighboring properties look the same. Also, there was no porch light so you had a hard time punching in your keycode numbers. We stayed in the 2-room suite (the Orange Blossom), which had a big bed in each but the room that doubled as the front didn't have a good lounge area in the front part - it could have used a couple of comfy chairs or a loveseat. The breakfast is a cafe a couple of doors down and you get an $18 voucher, which pretty much covers a coffee and a treat for two people. No complaints about that! The backyard cat was preoccupied with a dead bird so he didn't greet us. I cannot fault the humans for this. All in all a very nice place that could use just a little more to push it over the top, but well worth your visit."

"This was a beautiful home with everything we needed and then some. The kitchen had a well stocked assortment of utensils, cutlery, pots, pans, etc. We loved the outdoor gas fireplace with comfy chairs and overhang so we could enjoy being outside even when it was raining. The indoor gas fire hearth was also cozy as we reclined in the leather sofa. The master bath was luxurious with the double showerheads and jetted tub. The beds were comfy and we had plenty of sheets, blankets and pillows. One aspect we would like future guests to know is that this house is in a residential area. Generally the atmosphere was quiet but if there was neighborhood noise, it did not go past 9:00pm. We used location as a jumping off point to visit the Guadalupe NP and Carlsbad Caverns NP. The town had plenty of restaurants and a major grocery store for anything you would you need. Everyone we came in contact with was so friendly. Thank you, Jeannie for sharing your lovely home with us. We know future guests will love it too!"

"The area was quiet, the house was comfortable. The beds are ALL king size with a large TV in bedroom. Did find small things that housekeeping missed, floors were not swept nor mopped in living area. They had a portable AC in the main bedroom, the hose came out blew hot air. Contacted the hostess and she responded quick and took care of us. Other than that I think the house is priced good."
