The Space: Plenty of natural light floods the main living space from the several windows that look out onto the lake and wooded landscape below. The open-concept layout allows for an organic flow of conversation among guests and an ideal design for entertaining. An electric fireplace makes for cozy, relaxed evenings indoors. The living room boasts a smart TV, and deck access. Step outside onto a private deck with seating for two to enjoy the majestic scenery. Back inside, a galley kitchen comes equipped with plenty of counter space and everything you may need to whip up meals from home. Stainless-steel appliances and pine cabinetry enhance the appeal of the space. The home has a blender, toaster, and standard brew coffee maker, as well as a single serve brewing option, all available for your convenience. Two guests can be seated in barstools at the pass-through window that separates the kitchen from the more formal dining space which includes a dining table with room for 6. The home sleeps up to 6 guests comfortably between 2 spacious bedrooms and a sofa sleeper in the living room which converts into a queen-sized bed. Each room is furnished with crisp linens to ensure everyone has a restful stay. Bedroom #1 is the master, with a King bed, TV, and en-suite. The en-suite offers a stand-up shower, separate soaking tub only, and a dual vanity. Bedroom #2 is outfitted with a Queen bed, and TV. The guest bathroom has a shower/tub combo with upgraded tile and fixtures. Guests can enter from the hallway with additional direct access from this bedroom as well. Everything was clean and well kept. It had all the amenities for our stay. Since the pool is only open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, I don't feel I should have to give it a rating since we didn't have the opportunity to use it. I'm sure the pool is excellent, but even though it was still warm weather we couldn't use it. The property welcomed us with soothing music playing upon arrival. The room was just like the pictures. Check-in & check-out process was incredibly easy. Communication was great throughout our stay and if we needed anything - all we had to do was send a text. The infinity pool was fun and had such a pretty view, especially at sunset!! The property was easy to find, spacious and had a lot of kitchen utensils, that was very helpful! They had extra towels, blankets, and pillows available for the fold out bed. It was 90 degrees during our stay, but the gated pool was locked because they don’t open it until Memorial Day, regardless of the weather, so that was a bummer. When trying to contact the owner directly with questions or problems, you are diverted to an unhelpful answering service that tells you they’ll contact the owner and get back with you. Our refrigerator didn’t work, which was an annoyance, but did not ruin our stay. I’m sure they’ll get that figured out for the next guests. There is a terrifying noise that goes off in the middle of the night from the master bathroom. We thought maybe it was a sump pump or sewage elevator pump. Every night it went off and work me up completely scared. But I guess if you know what it is, you wouldn’t be so troubled. All in all, it was a nice clean place, but obviously we were some of the first renters. ##### Erica H.
