Our host was a great communicator. Provided all the information we needed and more. This was our first time staying at this complex and were pleasantly surprised. Our children loved sharing a room with bunks beds. The surrounding area itself was beautiful. Our host has a welcome book sitting on a small table when we arrived. The book had a map of the trails leading to the lake. The start of the nearest trail could not have been more than 50 yards away from our room. We followed one of the trails down to the lake and were able to sit right along the shore. Our children enjoyed throwing stones into the water and exploring. We booked a last minute vacation to visit Silver Dollar City during Christmas festival, so the location was super convenient. Having the trails, playground, and tennis/pickle ball court on property gave us something to do each morning as we waited for Silver Dollar City to open. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Ashley, the hostess, was phenomenal from the very beginning.
