"Hideaway Cottage is a gem located on a scenic stretch of the Santa Fe River. Mike and Laura are very attentive to detail and offer a wonderful chance to enjoy one of the most beautiful parts of Florida. If you enjoy fishing, wildlife, scenery, and peace and quiet, this is the place for you. The cottage is spotless and full of charm, with a comfortable bed and a wonderful shower. Be sure to float down the Ichetucknee Springs River through the State Park — it’s breathtaking and only minutes away from the cottage. Try the Farm Stand (also just minutes away) for some great Mexican food. My wife and I feel lucky to have experienced our stay at Hideaway Cottage and are truly grateful for it. "What a great spot. The river is beautiful and right there. Centrally located to High Springs and ichetucknee springs. Owner is very accommodating and house is well stocked with toys. Will be going back. "

"The Cozy Cabin was the ideal spot for a weekend retreat. All the comforts of home in a beautiful little package!! Lisa and Randy were great hosts!! We are avid paddlers and will definitely stay here again when doing the Itchie and Santa Fe rivers."

"The only good thing about this property is the access to the river. As soon as you open the door to residents you get a good smell of mold. The only thing clean were the bed sheets. Frig was not wiped out. I had to clean before putting my groceries in. Rotting wood on deck & dock. Old dishwasher on deck all smelly. Spider webs in window, on deck & in parking area. Coffee pot broken. Had to buy one at Dollar store. I have pictures if needed. Yard not taken care of. Weeds, poison ivy everywhere. "

"Check in was quick, house was okay on cleanliness, it really works better for families or younger groups. The bathroom situation is a little tough as master way in back and rooms are up front and the jack and Jill toilet is also hall toilet…cute house, a little cold feeling with concrete floors vs rugs or comfortable chairs. "
