There was plenty of room for our group of 8, and the kids spent most of their time fishing off the dock in the backyard or kayaking along the river. The host provided kayaks, floats, and fishing poles, which made it so easy to jump right into the fun.The kitchen was well-appointed with everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is quiet, serene, and the perfect spot to disconnect and enjoy nature—without having to totally “rough it.” We even lost power one night due to a rainstorm, but the generator kicked on instantly and kept everything running without us having to lift a finger.The host was friendly and responsive, and there were plenty of linens and all the comforts of home. The cabin is also conveniently close to Ginnie Springs and Ichetucknee Springs, making it a great base for exploring the area’s beautiful waterways.
