Our stay with in the Nisswa, MN area met all expectations! I will be honest, before our stay we did not realize the owner lives below the area to be rented. I did call the owner and expressed these concerns to him. After talking to Ron and hearing his reasoning for everything, our group felt comfortable staying. Ron is an exceptional host! He stays on sight for any of questions or concerns. He is a family guy, with a beautiful, spacious, and private area to enjoy. This property has lots to offer from a sandy beach area (perfect to swim), a golfing hole to practice, tubes, all seasons room, fire pit, and much more! The location was also perfect for when our group went out to enjoy Nisswa or Gull Lake. The space inside was the perfect fit for our group of 8 and it felt very homey. Overall, I would come back to stay! Thanks again Ron for accommodating our group!
Very nice place and lots of room. The owner was very nice and made sure we were comfortable. Love the lake as it is quite so our younger grandkids could go tubing and you don’t have to worry about a lot of boat traffic. We would definitely stay at this place again.
We had the best time during our stay here. The house and property was absolutely beautiful. Ron was an amazing host and answered all my questions and in a timely manner. He is a really great guy and would happily stay again!
The property is beautiful, and the home was beautiful. Ron the owner was great at communicating with us. The house had everything you need. We were allowed to host to 40th birthday party and couldn't be happier. Thank you, Ron.
The house was a great setup for our family of ten. Plenty of room for all! Yard and beach area is perfect for kids. Lots of extras. Host was also very accommodating.
It was a perfect place for a short girls weekend! Loved the nice open floor plan and the 3 seasons porch overlooking the lake!

Renters BeWare: What you need to know about this rental that isn't disclosed!
First, the cabin/house is beautiful, roomy and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked for any type of cooking you do. Clean and comfortable. Home away from home. They do need to stock the house better with supplies like coffee filters, paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags. We had to wait until the renter was back home from working (midnight) to get replenished with this stuff. Fire pit area is big and well stocked with wood and chairs. HOWEVER, what is not disclosed about this property is 1) Someone lives in the basement, so it's not private. 2) There is another cabin on the property that is close to the lake that you have to share anything that is advertised as available to you. 3) The gradual slope to the lake is a very long slope, the house is not close to the lake at all. The beach is small, and weedy and not taken well care of. We raked the beach ourselves and just piled the stuff up along the shoreline. Saturday morning, they start mowing the lawn while we are there, our lawn games and campfire stuff all sitting out. Then they proceed to use the tractor to dig up a low spot in the yard between the house and lake. (This should be done between rentals) I thought I was paying for a nice, relaxing, private, family get together, and it ended up being one disappointment after another. I spoke with Ron, who is extremely nice, he did comp some of the pontoon rental for "nondisclosure" of the shared beach. I rent from VRBO almost every year and this was the most expensive and the most frustrating rental. I don't like to be so negative because people are sharing their homes, but honestly, this was not an inexpensive rental, I paid for my extra people, and feel that the description of the property purposely did not disclose a lot of this because they know it may prevent some rentals.
