It had everything you could wish for a relaxing holiday. Mark (owner) was very accommodating. He gave my wife Tracey a card and a bottle of wine for her birthday. A very nice surprise. From sunrise (100 steps to the bay) to sunset (150 steps to the Gulf) we would not stay anywhere else. Our unit was clean and comfortable as well as the surrounding well maintained grounds. The owner Mark is phenomenal. We meet him each time we are there because he is always around to make sure you are comfortable and satisfied with your stay. You are only 75 steps to the beach. A very short walk to restaurants and a short drive to supermarkets. If you like the beach and want to relax there is no better place than Island Getaway. Another wonderful time! We have been coming here for the past three years. Every spring and every fall. We call it our home away from home. Such a relaxing atmosphere. Steps from Sarasota Bay and steps from the Gulf of Mexico. Restaurants and shops within walking distance.
