Hi Ines, So sorry to see the apartment received 3 stars from yourself and Maik. In over 3 years and 4 properties and well over 200 reviews we've never received 3 stars from any of our guests so I was interested to read your feedback as I was a bit shocked.
So going through your points - there are some points you made in your review that are actually not true:-
You state, there is only 1 chair available: There are actually 6 chairs at the property and a leather 2 seater sofa. You can clearly see this in the photos.
You state, there is no storage facilities in the bathroom: There is a two shelf cupboard under the sink, so again not sure why you said this...odd...are you sure you've not mistakenly confused our property with another property you've stayed in?
You state, the cooking facilities are poor: There is a virtually brand new large microwave, toaster and kettle with a separate mini oven, grill and hob, so again that surprised me.
As you can see from the photographs, we choose not to put a full size cooker in there as the apartment is so close to The Lexicon which has around 20 restaurants we find most of our guests choose to eat out and that the cooking facilities we provide are good for their needs.
You state noisy: Not sure what you mean by noisy, the house is in a quiet residential road, so again I found this odd....
I'm surprised you say the apartment is not suitable for two people - it has a very large bedroom, 18" x 10" with a brand new King Size mattress on the bed, large double wardrobe and very large chest of drawers, a separate lounge and kitchen with a large private patio, table and 4 chairs and garden area, you paid much less per night than a local travel lodge room.
Here is a recent review from a guest that stayed in the apartment for a month - there were two of them...
"We stayed at Tessa and Charles’ house for 1 month and they were really nice and helpful hosts. House was clean, comfortable and close to town and train station. I would highly recommend this house and I would definitely choose here if I come to Bracknell again".
Anyway we're glad you enjoyed the Welcome pack we left and enjoyed all the cereal, porridge, jam, honey, marmite, Nutella, hot chocolate, milk, bread, eggs, tea, coffee and biscuits we left for you! All the best for your future travels, Tessa and Charles
