We had an excellent time staying at this property. It’s huge, clean, has a ton of amenities, and is in a great location for skiing Big Sky.
I would definitely stay here again.
We had family fly in from all over the country for Thanksgiving. There was plenty of room to do everything we wanted. The fireplace was a huge hit and made it feel very comfortable. The house is great and we had a great time and stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The property was so well situated - looking at the Bridgers every day, all day! And the house was so welcoming and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots/pans/dishes, etc. We wanted for nothing. Seeing wildlife (deer and turkeys mostly) was a highlight for our toddler grandchild. I would highly recommend the property!
We celebrated my partners birthday and had a great time at our vrbo. It was spacious and had plenty of bedrooms for everyone with a beautiful view of the mountains.
House was great for our large group- 3 families and a grandparents. Lots of space to be together in the kitchen and outside. Kids loved the hot tub and yard. Great proximity to hikes, downtown Bozeman, airport, excursions, etc. Highly recommend!
Very nice spacious house, everyone in my family had lots of room, and there is a nice big kitchen, well stocked with appliances. Beautiful views of the bridgers, very close to Hyalite, lots of open space surrounding the house, and we enjoyed the hot tub during the snowy evenings. The internet was a tad slow when everyone was signed on, so if people need to access It for work, that may be a consideration, but since most of us were vacationing, it didn't bother us. Thank you for a great stay!
Enjoyed our stay after we finally got there. They said not to rely on GPS maps, and to follow their written directions. Turned out those were not well written at all, and we spent probably 30-45 minutes looking for this place. Finally had to call them and they talked us through to getting there. After that, it was easy to go to/from. All they need to do is re-write the exact directions!Outdoor Grill not working.Playground structure (wooden) needs attention.Wall to wall carpeting inside seems older and grungy.Otherwise, loved the peaceful neighborhood and the amazing view. Had deer visiting twice during our stay. Bozeman fairly close by.
Wow! This was the most amazing home! Our daughter got married at the Hart Ranch 15 minutes away and our family and friends fit perfectly in this spacious house. We were able to accommodate everyone and enjoy the back yard and our grandkids loved the play set, hot tub and we hooked up a slip n slide! For the size of the house I would only suggest another refrigerator in the garage for overflow. The ice maker was Awesome! The weather was hot and I was afraid with no air conditioning it would be uncomfortable, however it was not with as many windows in the house! We would recommend the home for large groups/ families. Only 15 minutes to Bozeman proper! Thank you for a great stay.
We all really enjoyed our stay. The home was very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked for kitchen utensils. All in all it was great, however, the downstairs heat didn't work as the thermostat was broken nor could we get the gas fireplace to work. Also, the ice maker wasn't hooked up to water apparently as it didn’t make ice. That said the home was really lovely and the view spectacular. We would rent this home again. Ps. the housekeepers could have been a tad better,. We found items under the bed of 1 room & some uncooked spaghetti on the floor under the stove.
Really great property. The only drawback from a summer stay is the lack of air conditioning. Many nights it cools off substantially, but the late afternoons and evenings can be pretty brutal. Overall an excellent place to stay.
The location of this house was perfect, with ample chairs for viewing the surrounding fields and mountains. It was very peaceful. The house itself was spacious, with a lot of nice touches like a well-stocked kitchen and lots of closet space. Unlike most vrbos I've stayed in, there was plenty of dishwashing liquid, paper towels, kleenex. I would love to come back here!

A great place to spend with family and friends
Very nice quiet home comfortable and nicely furnished I would love to come stay again garage was a nice feature and Was a great way to start each day
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Black Bear Ranch. We had four couples and a single and the ranch easily handled us with plenty of room and good sized bedrooms and plenty of full bathrooms. The main room was a great place to hang out at night with everyone. The pictures of the main room in VRBO do not do it justice. Many of us took advantage of the hot tub. Every morning we were visited by several deer. It was an easy drive to downtown Boseman. All in all we would highly recommend the Black Bear Ranch to anyone.
Beautiful location and property for family get together!
We really enjoyed this property! The location was very private and beautiful with views of the mountains out the front windows. The backyard was perfect for our kids to play and snowboard and quiet for the adults to chill on the outdoor patio! It really is the perfect gathering spot for larger groups! There are plenty of comfortable beds and rooms to accommodate a variety of ages. We would definitely stay there again!
There was lots of room for three generations of our family. The location was great - close to skiing at Bridger Bowl, Big Sky and Hyalite. The hot tub was a BIG hit! It was a bonus to be able to use the heated three stall garage.
Great space for a family of 10! Plenty of space with spectacular views! Our flight was early and we were so happy to get into the property early!! Thank you! We had a family wedding and the ease and location worked out great!! Would recommend for a large group
Well stocked, spacious home for our 2 families. We thoroughly enjoyed the kitchen/dining/living room area that made the perfect hub for activity. Beautiful views of the Bridger Range from front porch and in a nice neighborhood away from town. Only downside is most shopping/conveniences are about 15-20 minutes away. If you plan to ski both Bridger Bowl and Big Sky, this house is ideally located between both resorts.

Large home with land south of bozeman
My family and I stayed here while looking for a house of our own to purchase in Bozeman. The home was clean, with lots of space. There are effectively 6 bedrooms as there is an extra suite over the master bedroom with a king bed and it’s own bathroom. Perfect for a large group. Our young kids loved the playground and large yard (about 2 acres). About a 10-15 min drive into town. We made it to Big Sky in about an hour. The house has a large mud room that was perfect to store skis and snow clothes. The kitchen was also great for those who want to cook large meals. High end appliances. Highly recommend for families!

Beautiful Home & Great Location
Ok, so let's start with the positives. The house is perfect for a group of 12 people, it's spacious with plenty of seating and amenities. Even supplies such as laundry detergent, trash bags, paper towels, etc. The beds are comfortable and having a heated 3 car parking garage was really great. Plus the view of the Mountains, WOW! I hope to book this house again next year.
I stayed in the master which was perfect, several shower heads, steam room, bathtub, walk in closet the works. It was like our own mini house. However, it smelled like fecal matter. Come to find there is a small open room off the garage and closet with a lot of pipes in it where the smell just seeped through the entire master portion of the house. We had to close the door to the bathroom and run the fan in the bedroom just so we didn't want to gag when we were in there but had to embrace it when we wanted to actually use the bathroom.
We were told there was a lock box with a key and to never leave any doors open. There wasn't a lock box and when we arrived every single door was unlocked. Granted, I knew the location was safe but still.
We also didn't have a trash bin for pick up so we were unable to throw away any trash. Having lived in Montana, I know that you can't just leave trash out, something will get to it.
We also felt that there should be instructions on how to use certain things in the house. Especially where the chemicals were for the hot tub.
Finally, there was a section of the house that was still under construction. Not that it interfered with our stay but just kind of odd that we weren't informed.
Really, this house is perfect and we are glad we stayed here and if that smell can be taken care of, even just a door on that small area to the pipes we hope to book this house again. The house really treated us well. Thank you for the stay!
