"It was nice to have a clean, modern place to stay that is walking distance to Brookland, where my daughter lives. Hotels are not close to her so this was an excellent alternative. Modern appliances, great shower, and comfortable bed were a definite plus. The building and apartment are secure with codes locks. "

"Overall, this flat offered all we were looking for, a great price close to all the sights we were hoping to see. I assumed because it was a 3rd floor unit that there was an elevator, I was wrong. My husband is disabled so my own fault for not asking the question prior to booking. We didn't spend much time going up and down the stairs, and grandkids came in handy to retrieve meal deliveries. The place was exceptionally clean, up-to-date amenities, which included state of the art appliances. ...

"Ideal location, close to where I needed to go. The rooms very comfortable and clean. There are a few things I didn't like. First they were doing remodeling so there were boxes and equipment in view on the back area. There is a large crack on the outside stairs in the front and the railing seemed loose and bending outward. Other then that we enjoyed our stay."

"This property was an ideal choice for our visit to DC for meetings on Capitol Hill. There was free on-street parking available, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and there was a table we could use as a working desk. We will definitely book here again if it is available."

Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington D.C. – Convention Center
10/10 Excellent
"The staff was very friendly and let us check in early The room was very clean and large. Breakfast was delicious and we really enjoyed our time there."
The Bethesdan Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"We came in for just 1 night to go to the Embassy the next morning.
We usually stay in DC but decided to try something different this time.
Our room was clean and up to date. Beds were firm, shower pressure was strong. Hotel it self was clean and smelled great. Relaxing music was playing in lobby.
Staff was very nice and helpful especially with parking our 1500 RAM truck. We were not sure if it would fit in parking garage. We were happy that our truck still had 6 inches left of clearance and was able to park on site. They allowed us to drive up to the parking garage and attempt with the maximum height bar first before paying. All went well.
We ate dinner at the resturant in the hotel. Food was very good and our waitress was exceptional.
Breakfast was not included with your stay and the cost was not worth what they offered.
All in all we enjoyed our stay and will come back to this hotel again."
"The room was way too small. I fought the claustrophobia. The bed was not comfortable. The mattress was hard and I nearly slid off the bed!
The bathroom is nice. The room was very clean. No hand towels! I had to ask at the front desk.
There is no complimentary morning. coffee or coffee maker in the room.
No refrigerator in the room. It took me two days to figure out how to have ice and soda in the room for overnight. (You have to purchase soda and ask for an ice tub at the bar service area.)"
"We stayed at the Washington Plaza for 5 nights in late May and had a really enjoyable stay.
The hotel has a classic, authentic feel; it’s not a brand-new boutique property, but don’t let that put you off. The location is excellent, right on Thomas Circle, with easy access to McPherson Square Metro and just a short walk to 14th Street. That street is a real highlight, full of great restaurants for both breakfast and dinner. Unconventional Diner is an absolute must and easily walkable.
The outdoor pool area was fantastic on sunny days and perfect for some downtime after long sightseeing days. One small complaint was that the pool water was cooler than we expected, but it was still very usable.
The rooms are dated compared to modern new-build hotels, but they were clean, comfortable, and perfectly adequate for our family of three. Road noise is noticeable (as you’d expect, being in the heart of the city), but nothing that disturbed our sleep.
We only ate at the hotel restaurant once for lunch, and it was good. The gym is a bit tired, and the air conditioning didn’t cool the room adequately, but I was still able to get my workouts done.
Overall, we really liked our stay here. Great central location, solid service, and a proper hotel pool made it a good base for exploring Washington DC. We’d happily return."
"The heat never worked throughout our stay, mind you . This was in a 50 degrees weather and constant rain. Just cold all night long! Terrible ! Also the rooms have zero to no lightning, the bathroom didn’t have air vents so we literally had to shower with the doors open. Would not recommend!"
"I liked that there was police on site 24/7
I tend to over think everything so that made me feel safe being that we are new faces in the area I didn’t like that our room neighbors were very you could hear EVERYTHING"
