Big Skies is an elegant, modern, air-conditioned, single-story villa with a private pool, nestled on a hillside with panoramic views of the valley and the medieval village of Vercoiran.
Located at an altitude of 550 metres, the nights here are pleasant and restful.
There is a local restaurant and bar within walking distance of the villa (700 metres), which also features an artisanal deli and a shop for morning bread, croissants, and essentials. The lively village of Buis-les-Baronnies is just a 10-minute drive away, Vaison-la-Romaine is 25 minutes away, and the starting point for the climb up Mont Ventoux is a 30-minute drive away.
It’s the perfect place to spend a magical holiday in Provence.

Whether your priorities are enjoying fabulous meals, tasting wines, shopping at Provençal markets, hiking, rock climbing, biking on Mont Ventoux, practising yoga, or simply relaxing by the pool and admiring the view —this is the perfect place to do it all.

Big Skies features a beautifully decorated open-concept living-dining-kitchen area where the whole family can relax together in air-conditioned comfort; it’s flooded with light from all sides and overlooks the terrace, the pool, and the garden beyond.
There are four double bedrooms—two with queen-size beds (150 cm) and two with twin beds (90 cm)—as well as two recently renovated bathrooms. The first features a shower, bathtub, sink, and toilet; the other has a shower, double sink, and toilet. Finally, a separate bathroom with a sink is also available.
The well-equipped kitchen includes a gas stove, an electric convection oven, a microwave, an American-style fridge-freezer with an ice and cold water dispenser, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, and a cosy breakfast bar with bar stools so you can cook and chat at the same time.
There is a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer (for when the sun isn’t out), a separate Smeg refrigerator, and plenty of storage space.
Outside, there are plenty of parking spaces in front of the house, while in the back there is a good-sized garden with a beautiful 8 m x 4.5 m pool featuring a white concrete deck, a shaded area, and pool furniture, all overlooking the panoramic view. A grey limestone terrace with garden furniture, an outdoor dining area, and a Weber grill is connected to the house.
Plus, you’ll enjoy a traditional Provençal boules court!

Please note that the pool is not heated, so it’s open only from June through September—you might be able to swim before or after that, but you may need to take a deep breath! Our kids do it regularly, but it’s not for me.
