Also, for those who enjoy hiking there is a country path of 1,5 km leading to Panormos, but it’s advisable to cross it only by day! Layout Dimokritos Villa III is a 100 m2 Villa, consisted of two levels, which can accommodate up to 8 guests in it’s 3 bedrooms. The Villa is tastefully decorated with furniture of modern design, chosen carefully in order to make your self-catered vacation as easy and comfortable as possible! Ground Floor As you enter the Villa you will find yourselves in a lovely open-plan space, featuring the living room with an open fireplace and two cosy sofas, where two guests can be accommodated. The fully equipped kitchen with a dining area is right next to the living room, so the whole family can spend some time together, while relaxing or preparing your meals! Both the living room and kitchen areas offer direct access to the shaded veranda, swimming pool and lawn covered terrace. Additionally, one of the Villa’s bedrooms, boosting a double, is located on the ground floor, along with a family bathroom with a shower. First Floor A few steps above, the remaining two bedrooms of Dimokritos Villa III can be found, each one with two single beds. In one of the bedrooms the two beds can also be used as a double bed. All bedrooms and the living room are air-conditioned and are airy and sunny all day long. Both bedrooms open up to a large veranda equipped with patio furniture, overlooking the pool terrace and enjoying amazing sunset views. Finally, a family bathroom with bathtub is also located on this floor. Exterior Moving outdoors, a magnificent 200m2 outdoor area welcomes you and invites you to to indulge in the summer breeze, hot sun and enjoy the pleasures of summer, under the clear blue skies! The private swimming pool 1.5 meters deep has a special compartment for kids 0.4 meters deep and it is 35m2 in total and it’s equipped with sun beds and umbrellas, so you can spend as many hours as you wish out in the open! The sandy beaches of Geropotamos are just 5 minutes away from the villa by car. Also Panormo, is a friendly sea side village, just 10 minutes away by car and well known for its sandy beaches. The two main beaches are Limanaki and Limni. Both of them are sandy with clear blue water and ideal for kids, as they are shallow and well protected from winds. The beaches are organised and equipped with sun beds & umbrellas. Water sports are also available. The harbour beach in front of the village is the port of the area, where the boats tie up, this beach is unorganised. The village has all the facilities and amenities one would need : well-stocked mini-markets, post office, pharmacy, a doctor’s office, a butcher's shop, bakery (hot, fresh bread every morning from 9 am), various gift shops and traditional seaside shops at very reasonable prices. Villa Demokritos was our choice... and it was perfect! The house was clean, luminous, modern and with all the basics we need. The wifi was perfect for everyone and the family responsible of the Villa was very kind indeed, They welcomed us with some food and fresh fruit from their property, and helped us with every single detail. Outside space was perfect The outside space was perfect, we used the pool and Bbq most days. The beds were firm and comfortable but we like firm matresses. The downstairs bathroom which is for the double room was disappointing. Not a luxury bathroom that you would expect from a 3 bed villa. The kitchen and lounge was basic but had everything needed. Location is very peaceful but when we booked originally the listing said there was a taverna on site but this had closed which meant a 20 - 30 minute drive to go out for dinner. Der Außenbereich ist sehr schön, mit Pool (auch mit Becken für Kleinkinder), gepflegter Rasen und kleiner Garten. Das etwas abgeschiedene Haus mit eigenem Pool, tollem Garten zum Ball spielen und Rückzugsmöglichkeiten für Pubertierende erfüllte diese Anforderungen voll und ganz. Es wirkte auf den Bildern etwas größer und neuer, aber das störte nicht. Wir hatten letztlich alles was wir brauchten und die Agentur war immer erreichbar. Unser Highlight war der Pool mit unterschiedlichen Wassertiefen mit Absperrungen, so dass auch die kleinsten mitplanschen konnten. Können das Haus empfehlen! ##### Maria B. Alles ist genau so wie auf den Fotos vorzufinden! Die Nachbar Villen sind weit genug entfernt, man fühlt sich völlig frei und wohl. Der Besitzer kümmert sich sehr herzlich um alles. Die Küche war bestens ausgestattet, wir haben viel gekocht und nichts hat gefehlt. Letztlich sind der Pool, die Terrasse, beide Balkone und die Aussicht einfach ein Traum! Nichts ist besser, als so ein Pool nur für sich allein. Einzig die Anfahrt war für uns schwierig, da unser Navi uns immer wieder ins Nirgendwo geleitet hat. Es ist schon recht abgelegen, aber dafür wundervoll idyllisch! Im Zweifel gebt lieber folgendes benachbartes Haus in Google ein: „Oikos - your cretan House“. Wir waren mit dem Ferienhaus und dem Grundstück sehr zufrieden. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Zur Ankunft waren sogar ein kleines Frühstück und ausreichend Wasser im Kühlschrank. Die Ansprechpartner waren sehr nett und erfüllten unsere Wünsche sofort. Wir kommen gerne wieder! ##### Rene G. Villa was immaculate and comfortable with everything you need. The pool was lovely. We were sent directions to the villa and told not to follow the GPS, but after a late flight we followed the GPS ..... Dont do this, the road is horrendous, go the extra distance . Really lovely villa, the owners were ever so kind and accommodating, came baring food when we arrived which was lovely and greatfully received. Vor allem der Blick auf das Meer ist sooo toll. Der Pool ist schön groß und sauber. Das Besitzerehepaar ist herrlich und steht einem immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Vielen Dank nochmal. Emmanuel and Popi were so very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us including fabulous food and wine during the stay. It’s got everything you need for a relaxing holiday and only 10 mins or so from Panormos which has a number good of restaurants. There is heaps to see and do locally but you will need a car to get out and about. Thoroughly recommend. ##### Dafydd D. Poppi and Emanuel are really generous and helpful. It is about 15mins drive from Reythmno and I would suggest you drive until the shell garage is on your left and turn right. You need a car to stay here. One of our best holidays ever really relaxing. ##### Doreen M. Wir waren mit unseren Kindern (6 Monate und 2 Jahre) für 10 Tage im Oktober in der Villa. Es war einfach toll. Die Lage ist sehr idyllisch zwischen Olivenhainen mit Blick auf das Meer am Horizont. Es ist super ruhig und nur Schafe und Ziegen zu hören. Die Abende auf der Hollywoodschaukel waren fantastisch. Mit dem Auto ist sowohl der nächste Supermarkt als auch der Strand gut erreichbar. Panormos ist ein nettes, kleines Städtchen zum Bummeln und Essen gehen. Das Haus war super sauber. Man hätte vom Boden essen können. Die Einrichtung ist sehr neu, geschmackvoll und pragmatisch. Vom Bügeleisen bis zum Föhn ist alles da. Moskitonetze an allen Türen. Die Betten sind bequem und es gab mehr als genug Handtücher, um mit jeder Art Wasser Spaß zu haben. Die Vermieter sind die nettesten, die wir je kennen gelernt haben. Zum Empfang gab es leckere, selbst gemachte Spezialitäten und alles für ein Abendessen. Es wurde während unseres Aufenthaltes einmal das komplette Haus geputzt und die Laken gewechselt. Der Pool ist schön erfrischend, sehr sauber und für Kinder super geeignet, weil ein Teil so flach ist, dass auch unsere 2jährige laufen konnte. Der Kontakt mit der Verwalterin Valia war sehr freundlich und kompetent. Wir sind absolut begeistert von Haus, Vermieter und Verwalterin. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hinfahren und empfehlen die Unterkunft wärmstens. Katja P. ##### Katja P. Super séjour dans la villa Dimokritos, celle ci est située dans un petit havre de paix au cœur des oliviers et des chèvres, la vue est à couper le souffle sur les montagnes et la mer. La villa est parfaitement équipée : piscine et barbecue juste génial!! Valia nous a très bien guidée concernant toute les infos importante, ainsi que pour la location de voiture. ( indispensable) . Les propriétaires , Monsieur Manolis et Madame Popi ainsi que leurs enfants sont juste parfaits : au petit soin , ménage impeccable, et surtout leur dîner grec avec des produits de leur production, un régal, encore merci! Nous recommandons vivement la villa pour des vacances reposante, situé à seulement 20min de voiture de rethymnon. ##### Marina L.
